It had been a couple of days since D-Day and more and more people had been arriving which kept Rose and the other medics busy with injuries. Rose was currently wrapping a bullet wound when she heard the familiar voice of Floyd Talbert, she finished and patted the soldier and then rushed outside "Floyd!" she shouted as she rushed into him and wrapped him in a hug "hey Tiny" he said "woah what happened?" he asked as he looked at the arm, she had cut the sleeve off as it was burnt and it was still wrapped in a bandage that was dirty and covered in blood due to her helping other soldiers, "just a burn" she answered as she pulled away and made her way to sit down next to Martin who held out a canteen of water for the girl to take.

Rose was only sat down for a moment before she was called to help with a wound and she jumped up and rushed over to the soldier who needed her help. Rose was taken from her job by Welsh shouted for them to gather around to hear orders, "listen up" Welsh stated "it'll be dark soon i want light and noise discipline from here on, no talking, no smoking and no playing grab fanny with the man in front of you Luz" he looked directly at the man in question like rose who pushed him slightly with a smile on her face. No matter what she went through, rose always wanted to keep her smile on her face in order to keep the other men's spirits high. "where are we heading to?" a soldier asked and Welsh answered "we're taking Carentan"

As they began to move Luz began his impressions which caused everyone to laugh "another thing to remember boys, flies spread disease, so keep yours closed". Night soon fell and everyone walked behind one another only stopping when we had lost fox company which was more than it should have been. rose walked up to Welsh when they stopped, again and smiled at him, rose walked back to join Luz crouched on the floor.
