Alpha Colton tore through a man's throat with his teeth. He threw the body on the ground and watched as it started to turn black.
He looked around at his other pack members as they killed the last of the humans that were on a hiking retreat. He didn't feel any remorse for the loss of life; he couldn't feel anything. He watched as one by one; each body turned into a black mass of sludge, before they turned into black smoke and disappeared into the shadows waiting to be called upon for the next stage.
