"Sorry about Redwing," James apologizes to Sam as we walk down the random street in Munich, Germany.

"No, you're not," Sam says before noticing my stern face. "What's wrong?"

"So that's the new Captain America?" I ask in disbelief. The only person I'd ever feel comfortable taking on the role is Sam because that's what Steve wanted. "I just...It's hard to believe that he's gone."

"I know you loved Steve, but the world has to move on," Sam tells me and when I look at him, I catch James staring at me.

"Whatever," I mutter, focusing my attention on the ground.

"What's going on in that big cyborg head of yours?" Sam eventually asks James.

"It's computing," James responds, creating the faintest of smiles appear on my face.

"I can see it," Sam says. "I can see the gears turning. Oh, they're malfunctioning, shutting down."

"We gotta figure out where the serum's coming from," James tells us.

"Yeah, and how the hell after 80 years there are eight Super Soldiers runnin' lose?" Sam adds.

I turn my head to the right when an army truck pulls up to us. An officer driving with John and Lemar in the back. They stop a few feet in front of us, but we don't stop walking.

"So that didn't go as planned, huh?" John says. He opens the back door but we just walk past them. "Let's keep going," I hear him tell the driver so they follow us. "At least we know what we're up against now, huh?" He continues as they drive slowly in front of us. "And we're pretty sure it's one of the Big Three, so-"

"Aliens, androids, or wizards?" Sam looks at him.

"Pretty sure."

"There's no such thing as wizards," James insists.

"Then it's aliens or androids-"

"Or Super Soldiers," I cut him off, finally looking back in Johns' direction.

"All right," John nods. "Then we gotta work together."

"That's not happening," James is quick to say.

"I think we stand a much better chance if we all just-"

"Just 'cause you carry that shield, it doesn't mean you're Captain America," I look at him sternly. I notice James give me a thankful look.

"Look, I've done the work, okay?" John says.

"You ever jump on top of a grenade?" James asks him.

"Yeah, I have," I'm a little surprised by John's answer. "Four times. Look, it's 20 miles to the airport. You guys need a ride," He then demands the driver, Gary, to stop driving. "Get in."
