Your POV

"Welcome home." I pushed Draco's wheelchair as we entered his childhood home. He was silent.

"Draco, welcome home. We made your favorite food." Narcissa smiled at Draco who finally looked up.

"I'm not hungry." He replied coldly.

"Oh." Her face fell. "That's alright. I'm guessing you are tired." Draco simply nodded. I apologized to Narcissa and excused us. I walked out of the room with Draco, leading us to his room.

"Here we are," I spoke. Draco let out a breath of relief. I helped him get into the bed before placing the wheelchair across the room. I changed into one of Draco's t-shirts and set an alarm. His first appointment is tomorrow and as much Draco doesn't want to go, he has to.

I get under the covers and wrap my arms around his torso, feeling safe in his arms. I looked up to see him fast asleep, hearing the light snores that were escaping his mouth. "I love you," I whispered before I fell asleep.

"Draco, get up." I shooked him, only to get a groan from him. "Draco, I'm not messing around." He turned his head to the side.

"Leave me alone!" He whined. I rolled my eyes at him. "I don't want to get out of bed."

"We have to! We don't want to be late." I replied with my hands on my hips.

"Fine." He huffed. I went to his side and helped him to sit in the wheelchair. He looked at me with sad eyes. "I don't deserve you."

"I'm your wife," I responded. "My job is to take care of you." I leaned down to kiss his lips, savoring this moment. We pulled away to see him smiling. We left the room to head to the dining room to see Narcissa and Lucius eating their food and talking to each other.

"Good morning Draco and Y/N." Narcissa greeted us. I smiled at her.

"Good morning Cissy and Lucius," I replied, sitting next to Draco. The maid walked in with two plates in her hands. "Enjoy your meals." Then she left.

We all ate in silence. Draco picked at his food, his gaze on his food when he suddenly raised his head.

"Astoria?" He asked. His father smiled at him.

"She is still sleeping," Lucius replied. "The baby's nursery is being decorated in the house that you brought." Draco nodded then went back to pick at his food. We excused ourselves to leave and take a walk around the garden, taking a fresh air outside.

"Love?" Draco called out. I looked down at him.

"Yes," I replied.

"What if I can never be able to walk?" He asked nervously. My gaze soften and walked in front of him, kneeling to his level.

"You are gonna be able to walk again, I will be there along with you, with each step. It will be difficult at first but we won't give up, alright?" He shrugged, hesitating. "Promise me something."

"What?" He asked. His eyes stared into mine.

"Promise me that you will fight," I spoke, cupping his face with my hands. "Promise me that you will try your hardest to do this. To be able to walk again." He broke his gaze and looked down. "Draco, please promise me that you will try."

He looked up with a determined look in his eyes causing me to smile. "I promise."

I hugged him and he returned it, feeling him press a kiss on my neck.

"Ready?" I looked at him. He moved a piece of my hair behind my ear and smiled.

"Ready." He replied.
