It's my day off so I'm doing what I always do and writing lol

The Christmas break is now over and it's now a new year. Leon and I attended the oilers new years eve party and had a lot of fun. I crashed at his place then he drove me home before going to oilers practice.

Now I'm getting ready for my practice. Unfortunately we both have games tomorrow so neither of us will be supporting the other. Well in spirit we will. That also means zach won't be watching.

Did not expect a game to coincide for awhile but I guess it was bound to happen sometime. "So are you sad leon won't be there?" Jules asks. I nod frowning and taking a bite of my toast "yeah but it's ok I'll just pretend he's in the crowd" I answer.

She nods "I'm sad jesse won't be there" she says. None of the boyfriends will be there.

And I'm with leon but my brother is also on the team.

Right as we're leaving the parking lot leon starts calling me on facetime. "Hey bub" I answer. "You at the rink yet?" He asks. "On our way should be 15 minutes" I answer. "Ok let me know when you're here and I'll come get a kiss" he says.

I giggle and nod "okay will do" I reply. "I miss you" he confesses. I smile brightly "I miss you too" I tell him. "Your game starts later than mine tomorrow so I'll come right after mines done" he says. "Are you sure? You're gonna be tired" I ask.

"Babe I want to" he says. "Okay I'll see you when I get to the arena" I give in. "Yay" he cheers before we hang up. "You haven't said i love you yet?" Jules asks. "No, is that weird?" I ask. "A little" she answers. I shrug "I do love him I'm just waiting for him to say it so I don't scare him off" I tell her.

She smiles "I can tell you love each other, the way he looks at you is beautiful" she says. I feel my face heat up and I cover it up "oh stop" I whisper.

We get to the arena and I text leon to let him know we're at the downtown community rink. Not even 10 minutes later he's outside the locker room.

He pulls me close and I lean up pecking his lips "you've got this, you're doing so well" I tell him. Oh did I mention he has a game tonight too that I'll miss most of because of practice but I'll be going straight to the suites after showering.

No extra practice today because i need to support my boys.

"I gotta go practice, you go kick butt" I tell him. He nods and pulls me in for a deep kiss, we make out for a minute before he leaves to the oilers locker room to get ready and I speed over to the locker room getting ready for practice.

We get out there and coach has a smile on his face. "Okay team! Practice is short today, half an hour because we're going to the oilers game after!" He tells us. We all cheer and then start practice getting everything we need done in the half an hour.

After I quickly shower ignoring my hair I change back into my jeans and grab my bag taking it out to the car, jules following behind with hers. I throw my draisaitl Jersey on and find my pass and wallet so I can get food.

The team and i all run over to the premium entrance and we take the elevator up to the suites. Coach got tickets for their own suit but gabi, jules and I go into the WAGS suite.

Lauren and breanne hug us when they see us and then we sit back down watching as the first period continues. We made it with 5 minutes left of the first.

It's 2-1 Vancouver.

Right as it hits 2 minutes leon scores to tie it and points his stick in my direction. I smile proudly standing up and clapping, a few seconds later I show up on the jumbo tron.

After they go back to playing I laugh and sit down "they really put that" jules says. "Well it's true" I shrug. With 40 seconds left zach scores assisted by connor and leon.

They go back to the locker room and I take a photo of the ice for my Instagram story.

Second period starts off good. Stuart in net still. Our lead is broken 4 minutes in. But that's ok because connor went onto score, assisted by ryan and kane.

4-3 Oilers with 10 minutes left of the second.

While Leon's on the bench he looks up and I manage to make eye contact with him and he smiles before winking. My face heats up and the butterflies erupt in my stomach. He looks so hot playing out there.

Going into the third period it's still 4-3 Oilers. While they're in the corner fighting for the puck leon trips the guy and that starts a fight. I sigh sitting back and covering my face "tell me when it's over" I tell the girls.

"Its over" gabi says a few seconds later. Leon is then in the penalty box for a few minutes, right after he is let out he's on the break away and scores.

5-3. With 10 minutes

I smile proudly while watching and the 10 minutes go by insanely fast. The wags all go down to meet the guys. My brother comes out first and he hugs me before going to alannah and my nephews. "Get home safe" I tell them.

They tell me the same and then leon comes out. He wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer "mmm you look hot in my Jersey" he whispers stuffing his face in my neck. "Do I?" I ask. "You do" he confirms.

We go back to Leon's and end up with our legs entangled in the sheets and my head in the crook of his neck. "Good night my girl" he whispers before we're both asleep.
