3 weeks later

I've been living with leon for a few weeks now, everyday we take bowie for a walk and we do something different to keep other selves entertained until we start training for the next season in almost a month.

We also started working out together and not just having an insane amount of sex. Multiple times a day everyday except when I'm on my period. We just cuddle a lot then. The downtown community rink still has public skate so leon and I go almost every time.

My ankle feels a lot better and I got an x-ray on it, it looks a lot better too. I'm thankful it was able to heal quicker than I thought. 

A few days ago melissa asked if we all wanted to go camping with her and kailer. So this morning we all drove out to a somewhat popular camping spot.

"Is that how you put up a tent?" I ask tilting my head as the guys are trying to figure out how to set the tents up. "I think I've got this" leon says checking the instructions. "I'll be supporting you from right here" I say standing at the picnic table and holding a white claw.

He chuckles "thanks love" he replies. Zach chuckles "I've got this" he says holding the poles up. They eventually figure it out and build all the tents, each couple brought their own. Zach and alannah brought one big enough for them and my nephews.

I look around and smile, 3 of best friends being here with their boyfriends and a few of Leon's best friends with their girlfriends, and my brother with his little family.

Happiness is the best feeling.

Once ours is built leon puts the sleeping bags in there and bowie runs inside making himself at home. "I knew he'd do that" Leon says coming over to me. I hand him an opened beer and he kisses the side of my head "thanks babe" he whispers. "For all your hard work" I joke.

We all sit around the camp fire my brother started once his tent was set up on the inside and we just talk and start telling stories for a few hours before we cook hot dogs on sticks.

The few days of camping go by and so does the rest of the summer. "You ready?" Jules asks as we're walking into the arena. Today is the first day of training camp before the season starts.

Leon is on the other side of the arena starting his training camp with the Oilers. "Yeah I guess" I reply carrying my bag in.

Our teammates already inside the locker room. "Captain is back!" Harper cheers. "Yeah she is!" Jules says patting my shoulder. I sit down and start changing into my gear.

As soon as we're all ready coach comes in and looks around "glad to see a lot of familiar faces here today" he starts. "And a couple new faces, everyone meet maddie and cari" he adds.

Two new girls, one looks tough and like she could fight and the other looks young. "Hello girls, I'm the captain my names scarlett but you can also call me Hyman" I say introducing myself. "Hyman? As in? Zach Hyman?" Maddie asks.

I nod "yeah, he's my older brother" I answer. They both gasp "wait I think I knew that, aren't you dating leon draisaitl?" Cari asks. "I am" I answer.
