"So, let's pray before we do anything else." Mr Chuks suggests chaining his hands to that of his immediate family except Jael who is absent.
"In Jesus name!"

  "Father Lord we thank you for an opportunity to resolve the family's differences. We ask that you help and assist us. We come against any form of reoccurrence in Jesus name."
"Amen!"
"For in Jesus name we pray."
"Amen!" The others chorus and they open their eyes.
"So, first of all, your mother asked for an audience before any one else."
"Good afternoon sons. It's a pity your sister isn't here. I feel like she needs this too. I'm sorry for being the reasons for the differences in the house. I practically created a wedge between you children. I'm sorry about that. Zechariah I want you to know that I love you. I really do, I wanted you to study accounting because one of my friends had a ready made job for you already and I didn't want you to miss it. So when you decided to take your own course and chase your dreams, I felt you were a rebel and ungrateful. When you then finished and couldn't get a job I felt like I had seen into the future. I'm sorry for all the things I put you through. I really am sorry and thanks for never losing sight of me as a mother. Thanks so much son." She appreciates him as he goes flat on his chest.
"Thanks so much Mom. You don't know what this means to me." He replies taking his seat.
   "Zephaniah, I'm sorry for the role I played in your present condition. I didn't mean to act like that. I just wanted to be referenced without thinking about what you guys really wanted for yourself. Please don't be annoyed. Find it in your heart to forgive me." She puts her hands together while be holds them.
"It's nothing Mom. Don't forget you are the drive behind my position today too. If I didn't want to impress you I might not have challenged myself so much. Thanks Mom." He replies too. Mr Chuks then clears his throat and they all pay attention to him.
  "We thank God that you two are great people today. And that the Lord is not done with you yet. Zephaniah, don't lose hope. Change and let it be real."
     "Of course Dad. Thanks so much."
"If I don't do it for you who will? So for you Zechariah, hold your brother's hand and run with him. He's not in the best state, I expect you to fill that gap."
  "He has never really left me Dad. Even when we had our differences. He has always been around." Zephaniah answers for him.
  "I'm trying my best Dad."
"Thanks sons. Let's leave you two to yourselves. And Zephaniah you had better reconcile with Jael." Their father reminds him as he leaves the room with his wife. The brothers face each other as Zechariah gives Zephaniah a pat on the back and the latter heaves a sigh of relief.
  "It is well bro. Trust me."
"I did it out of pride. I just wanted her to have something to worry about too."
  "That's not all."
"How do you know?"
"I can see the twinkle in your eyes. You like her right?"
  "Yes. A lot. Didn't want her to know though. I didn't want to pass of as weak."
  "That's bad bro. What are you planning to do though?"
  "I don't know. It's been 19 days. I contacted her younger sister and she refused to talk to me. I think she's still very much annoyed."
   "Who wouldn't be?"
"I'm very sorry. I'm serious this time Zechariah. I'm sorry."
   "I know right. That's why I did what I did." Zephaniah raises an eyebrow in question and Zechariah proceeds, "I contacted her and invited her for the wedding. She's working now. Still stays in Port Harcourt too."
  "She agreed to come?"
"Yes. It's your last card. Use it to the best of your abilities."
Zephaniah immediately pulls his twin into a hug and engulfs him there for a while.
"Eww! If feels weird to hug you. Leave me abeg." Zechariah jokingly protests as he tries to wriggle out of his brother's hold all to no avail since Zephaniah is the bigger one.

See Jessica that was practically forcing her sister to stay in a loveless marriage now defending her. There's nothing as sweet and fulfilling as giving room for a change.
