{Nadine's pov}

Ibe-bake naman ‘to eh.

While mom gets busy finishing the chicken stuffing, I set out to get the ingredients for the tomato soup.

Hmmm. I haven’t tasted your famous tomato soup yet. Paulo commented.

You should. It tastes divine especially with her homemade focaccia bread. James interjected as he entered the kitchen.

Hanapin mo anak.

I reminded him.

Yes mommy. He mocks. Hi Pau, bye Pau!

Hmmmm. Paulo soundeded thoughtful for a bit.

What?

Nothing. Ano’ng balita? You seem very busy the past few days.

I know.

January 29.

Ahh kaya pala. That makes sense. How are you doing with the preparations?

That’s understandable. Kung ako sya, I’d want it to be set on my original date as well.

Hmmm. I chewed on my lip trying to recall what he said earlier. When you said his choice date made sense, what do you mean?

Do you know what RA Foundation stands for?

Reid A-something? Uhm… not really, why?

He was quiet for a few seconds. Then in a clear voice, he said:

It’s Robert Alexis Foundation.
