Kamali

Nooo! How could you do this to me?

She was screaming as soon as the words came out of my mouth. A major headache had come over, I couldn't focus. I just glared at Mason.

He fell down to the ground, his face full of hurt. His hands were clenching together. The door then slammed open and both Jospeh and the doctor piled in. "I knew it. What the hell happened?" The doctor turned to me.

"*I..I rejected him*"

"You what?!" I glanced down and he was gone, without leaving a trace. I felt empty, my stomach felt like it dropped.

"Kamali rejected Mates don't get a second chance..did he say it back?" Joseph had crouched in front of me. I shook my head my shoulders dropping. "God why would you do that..*why*"

"*He killed my family. He killed my people*"

"Kamali he is your family. He is your mate! Once you have one you can't let them go"

"*Why are you suddenly siding with him? He's killed so many! He hurt your brother*" he flinched as if he has been slapped. He turned away from me, maybe he said something.

"Jospeh!" He turned, his teeth and hands clenched.

"Well it's true isn't it"

"*What did you say?*" they didn't pay attention to me. They couldn't see me.

"Stop being such a girl! Grow up!" My eyes widen and he stared down at the floor. His hands went loose. His shoulders as well slumped as Mari put her hands on her mouth, disbelief of what she just said.

"I will never get a mate! J-Just because I'm different and unwelcomed, I'll be taking my leave now"

"Joseph.." I grumbled out. My throat was still stinging, I've been talking so much lately. He stopped upon hearing my voice, he was shaking. He turned his head to me. "*You will find him. I promise. You will find your mate*"

"No I won't, you only get one chance. And you just blew it away" he stormed out, maybe the door had slammed by how Mari had flinched. She also turned to me and by this time I got up from the bed, all the pain from my body, gone.

Her eyes had glazed over then she blinked, they turned normal. "Your uncle wishes to see you, he wants to have a chat with you"

I nodded as she had led the way.

Mason

Coal? Coal!

Mason I don't think he's doing so good

I found myself lost by a lake. The moon was still high up in the air. The air seemed to be dense, almost suffocating. I couldn't find a breathe, not a clean fresh breathe. I felt as if my lungs were blocked.

There has been so much pain lately, I don't think I can take it anymore. Coal please tell me your alright.

Utter silence. "No come back. Come back!"

"He's not gonna come back" a voice. Deep, yet weirdly familiar. I turned to see a man, leaning against a tree. He was twirling something in his hands, his gaze on it and not on me.

"Who are you?" His eyes then were fully shown, blood red. "Y-Your one of them?" He hummed, almost staring in amusement. It was a coin in his hand. He was spinning it around his fingers

"One of you? Yes I am of coarse" his red eyes than settled on a normal eye color, a deep brown.

"How do you know about me?" He grinned.

"I watched you grow up. Don't you remember?" My eyebrows knitted together in confusion, my body tensing.

"Your crazy. Get off this territory before I call for the rest of my pack Vampire"

"Your a hypocrite Hybrid"

"What is even your name stranger? You seem to know so much about me" the coin then flipped over to me in which I caught it. I looked at it, staring at the weird carvings that were engraved into the piece of metal. The coin was red, the engraving of a bleeding heart.

"I come from another territory, mostly in big cities like New York and Boston. Crime is high in places like that for a reason" I flipped the coin over to see words, symbols, maybe another language. The land of those who seek for Blood.

Caleb how did you know that?

"Because he's a vampire that's why"

"How did you do that?"

"A little trick you will learn with the right guidance"

I fisted the coin, staring directly at him. "Why are you taking to me. I still don't know who you are!"

He had gotten off the tree  stepping towards me. I took a step back, still unsure about him. He looked to be in his late twenties. He wore a black shirt with dirtied jeans, was that blood splatter on them?

"My mate rejected me as well. I'm more vampire now, meaning I get immortality. You can accept the rejection you know, and get this immortality"

I shook my head. "I don't want to live forever. I still want to be apart of my family"

"Family hm? How's your dad doing?"

"He..he's dead. I didn't even get to meet him"

"Is that so? Well let's just say your Dad and I were close. Do you at least know his name? Anything about him?"

"Yeah he was my step fathers brother. His name was Ramon Moon. Ramon and my mother were mates before he passed. That's when she found out Ryder and her were second chance mates"

"Your father didn't die, he carried on watching from afar" the mans words seemed to knock the wind out of me.

"What do you mean? He died, end of story" he took a final step towards me, extending a hand out.

"I'm Ramon Moon. Your true father" I just seemed to stare at his hand, not knowing on how to react.
