As we waited for the two, it fell into an awkward silence this time. Taking my hand in Xavier's just playing with his hand.
" listen big guy, you can't be like that. Not even at times like this."
" I've ran this pack like this" he huffed
" well not necessarily" alpha Jax chuckled
" Alpha Jax..i have a question"
He looked at me, his dark blue eyes were gentle this time.
" anything you want rouge" he sighed
" were any other alphas close to...my father. I can't really remember"
He hummed and scratched a bit of his beard.
" not really, they all knew him or of him. More of your mother since she was the one to speak most of the time. Not to mention a bit of the alphas wanted just him dead. Why? The only thing they said was ' he reeks of death' and funny enough..that's exactly what's he's doing, am I wrong rouge?" He smirked
I stayed silent for a moment before nodding.
" correct" I simply said
" formal now are we?" Alpha Ross smiled
Looking to him, his golden eyes behind rounded glasses now a bit crooked. His red hair had gotten longer but not as long as Xavier or Jax's.
I rolled my eyes meeting eyes with Ryan. He seemed to look away immediately. As I kept staring, his eyes would avoided my sight.
" you're him, the one I rode a few times aren't you?"
He didn't say anything hearing a huff from Xavier.
" don't intervene, you'll scare him more" i spoke to Xavier
Rolling his eyes I looked back at Ryan.
" you are much smaller, but size doesn't really matter. Yet you're the oldest no?" He nodded and finally looked at me
" hey rouge" Jax spoke
I hummed to his words and looked at Xavier's hand.
"Asking many questions but not giving us much of a reaction." He smirked
" well, having to tell him to step down for a few moments-"
" has nothing to do with him." He snarled
My hair slightly raised as I heard a soft growl from Ashley as a warning.
" now Jax. Testing a female alpha isn't really the best option, really" ross nervously chuckled
"..I had actually forgotten I'm...an alpha" I mumbled
Though a small smirk came up to my lips and looked at Xavier. A sudden small laugh came from Ryan following from Ross and even a few guards.
A small giggle came from Xavier as he quickly shut up.
" strong women huh?"
" Hazel really? You were just serious a few seconds ago?" He scoffed with a smile
" well it doesn't matter...just gotta repeat it again..female alpha" Ashley smiled
" remember when he kept getting handed down by her" Ross laughed
" how did you know that??" Xavier spoke in disbelief
" you think max isn't best friends with my beta" he scoffed
Looking over at max as he slowly stepped back behind guards.
" umm...he's lying?" He questioned
I laughed out when Xavier followed.
