The begining of the festival

Alice's POV

I was currently having my hair and make up done by some maids and it's so relaxing.
They did my hair in a curly half up half down and placed silver gems in that matched the gems on my dress. My dress was a gorgeous purple with Silver gems all over the top part that faded down onto the purple. The shoes once again matching the gems, gorgeous 5 ish inch heels.

'Thank you so much' I said as the maids left

'It's no problem miss' one said and then left with the rest.

I stood and looked in the mirror completely shocked by my appearance. I looked like a princess, it was so weird. My normal attire being some mom jeans and whatever top I grab first matched with my black high top converse, I know, I'm a fashion icon.

~knock at the door~

'Come in' I called

In walks Thor who surprisingly isn't in his usual getup, instead he's on a tux, given there is still a red cap but still.

'Ohhhh someone looks handsome' I say

'Haha thank you alice, you look beautiful.' He smiles

'You are such a flirttt' I joke while hitting his shoulder causing him to laugh

'Come on we need to go it starts in ten minutes and since your the gUeSt Of HoNoUr you need to be there' he said making a funny face at me

'Woah woah woah. Why am I a guest of honour'

'You are the daughter of one of earths mightiest hero's' he laughs

'Aww yeah. Come onnnn let's go'

~in the ballroom~

We are sat in the table in the middle of the room and to be honest I'm so terrified. The table has me Thor Loki and two other men along with Odin and frigga.

Odin bangs his staff thingy thing and then stands 'I welcome you all here for the beginning on the February festival. I also wish to welcome our guest of honour, Alice stark, the daughter of one of midgards mightiest hero's' he said then signalling to me so everyone can see me. Everyone cheers and claps and soon then food is brought to the table.

I'm sat beside Thor and one of the strange men, Loki is at the other side of Thor and also beside frigga who is then beside Odin and then the two men.

'So lady Alice, please tell us about your father, one of midgards hero's' the man closest to me says while taking a drink of what I assume is wine

'Um he's...' this is awkward it's not like I can turn around and call him egotistical

'He's, strong I guess' I managed to blurt out which caused Thor to send me a look

Thor buts in saying 'yes. He's called Tony stark, a smart man indeed. He creates weapons, robots and houses that speak. He built a suit that caters every need in battle. Very smart man'

Thank god he said that I wouldn't have even thought about it

'Houses that talk?' The other man said looking at me very shocked

I laughed 'yes, it's an AI well known as a artificial intelligence and it does a lot around the house. It speaks to you and when you ask it to do something it does it and it's very effective.'

'That's extremely interesting' Odin then chimes in

God this is terrifying why are they all talking to me

'So is that how you met Thor?' Once again the man closest to me asks

'Yes' I said then taking a drink of my water

'I might just say you make a lovely couple' one of the men said

I choked on my water and and Thor choked on air

'Aww no no. Thor's like a brother to me'

I looked over at Loki who was glaring daggers from his eyes at the man. Cute.

'Well that's a delight to hear. I would love to dance with you after this' he said giving me a smile

Loki's eye daggers sharpened, if looks could kill.

'Ummm. Okay' I smiled shyly

'So lady Alice do you know Prince Loki?'

I look over at Loki unsure to on how to answer the question

'Indeed she does. We met on midgard whilst I was visiting Thor' he says rather sharply

Once dinner was over and done with everyone began to dance. I immediately clong to Thor as we stood by the bar.

'Thor' I whispered in his ear

'Mhm'

'This is terrifying'

He laughed. 'Allow me to make it better... LOKI COME HERE' he called to Loki who was speaking with frigga

Loki's POV

'Mother the meer thought of his hands even being near her makes my skin crawl'

'Loki darling. Go and speak with her' she said placing a hand on my shoulder

'She's been sticking to Thor like a plaster' I said raising my eye brows

'She's scared Loki, this is her first ball, never mind first time properly being on Asgard'

'LOKI COME HERE' Thor shouts

'Go Loki'

I walk over to Thor to see Alice standing rather awkwardly beside him

'Now please take her off my hands while I go and try to dance with some of the lovely lady's over there' he laughed then walked away

I look at her and she smiles awkwardly at me again

'Aw don't go being all shy on me now Alice'

'I'm not' she wined

'Miss me?' I asked raising a eyebrow

'You wish I did'

'I know you did' I smirked

'Sometimes I hate you'
