Alice's POV

'ADRIAN IS GONE!' The guard shouted from outside the room

We all snapped our heads to the door. A shocked expression overcame all of us.

Thor ran to the door opening it
'do we know how he escaped!' He hollered at the guards

'No sir, he was under full supervision and in the blink of an eye he vanished' the guard said

'Very well. Will you get the avengers along with the king and queen to come here right now please'

'Yes' the guard said then running off

I backed away from everyone and backed into the bed stumbling onto it. 'He's gonna tell them' I whispered

Loki was over with Thor but I couldn't hear what he was saying. It just sounded like mumbling to me.

I sat on the bed staring at the ground knowing what my fate held. He was going to thanos and then he was going to come to get me with an outcome that either contained death or me being taken.

'Alice...Alice?'

He was going to come here and get me. People are going to die... because of me.

'Alice!'

It's going to be my fault.

'ALICE!'

I broke out of my stare and looked up to see everyone was staring at me. The avenger plus Odin and frigga. My dad directly infront of me.

'Alice?'

'He's gonna get me' I whispered then letting my tears fall.

He pulled me into a tight embrace
'He's not getting you this time' he whispered

'There will be death' I whispered

'There won't' he whispered back

I looked over and seen Pietro looking at me with sadness in his eyes. When my dad let go of me everyone tried to think of a plan.

While that was happening Pietro came cover and wrapped an arm around my shoulders

'You've grown on me yano' he said

'What can I say. I did tell you I'm extremely loveable' I joked

'Yeah, loveable to use as a punching bag' he said throwing a small playful punch at my stomach with his free arm.

'Pietro, I'm really scared. I have a feeling I know the outcome of what will come' I said putting my head on his shoulder

'I'm here to protect you. Your like a little sister to me. Just like that witch Wanda over there.' He said flipping Wanda off which earned him a a death glare from her

'I've actually look at you as if you were a older brother to me too'

'Good I'm glad'

'I coulda used you when I was younger though. Pretty lonely in the tower being a only child'

'The chaos we could have caused' he giggled then causing me to as well

~4 days later~

Wanda, Nat, Peter, Pietro, Steve, Thor and I all lay out in the garden on a blanket just watching the clouds in silence. The palace has been pretty tense these past few days given the break out of Adrian and the expected arrival of thanos. I was barley allowed to even go to the bathroom alone.

Things with my dad have gotten better. He said he didn't know what got into him and apologised and I forgive him but I just feel a bit off with him now, I've never been look at like that before.
