Dance

Alice POV

After me and Loki bickering with eachother for around 5 mins he finally asked me to dance.

'Loki I have no idea how to'

'It's fine just follow what I do plus this will be a good way to keep other men from asking you to dance with them'

'You got jealous!' I said a lot louder than planned 'shit didn't mean to be that loud' I laughed

He looked at me blankly and then grabbed my hand 'come on'

Once on the dance floor he placed his hand on my waist and took my hand in his and started doing the dance.

'Loki I know I look so stupid right now'

'Your doing alot better than I expected' he admitted

'I don't know if I should be offended or not'

The whole time we dance we laughed and talked, I noticed I got a few looks from some of the girls who more than likely liked Loki and wanted to dance with him.

Loki's POV

We danced many dances and I noticed in the corner of my eye men looking at us with a smug smile and also noticed girls glaring at us. Either way it boosted my ego so I'm good with it.

'Alice come, I have a few people who I wish for you to meet' Odin said walking up to us when we were sitting at a table

'Of course. Loki, will I see you tonight again?' She said before leaving

'I'll come find you once your finished don't worry' I smiled.

Alice's POV

Odin walked me towards a group of 5 men, old and young. He said they were all part of the court and had never met a midgardian before so this should be interesting.

They all greeted me as if I was a princess and kissed my hand as they said hello.

'Might I just say you look extravagant' a man named extan said

'Yes, a true beauty' gavan, his twin brother said

'Aww thank you' I said blushing

'I sense a power in you, lady Alice' cedar claimed. Weird loki said the same thing

'A power?' I asked

'Yes, it seems very powerful. Are you sure you are midgardian?' Cedar said with a confused look. Am I?

'Yes' I laughed 'I'm sure. I grew up there my whole life and I look a lot like my parents' I smiled

'Your parents, tell us about them'

Blah blah blah this talk went on for agessss

Eventually loki came up and joined in on the conversation.

'Ahahahahaha lady Alice you are definitely midgardian, no girl here could do that' cedar laughed as I beat extan in finnishing a drink.

I laughed along with him and blushed

'So Alice what brought you to Asgard anyways, and don't say the bifrost' gavan asked

'Ahhh gavan you know me mearly 40 minutes and you've already caught onto my humour. I'm impressed' I laughed along with everyone else

'You still haven't told me'

'It's- um, it's'

'Thor invited her here for two months, for the festival and then a month after so she can explore around. She was accepted due to her high profile' Loki stated holding his drink

'Lucky you lady Alice' he winked at me

'Gavan, need I remind you I can read minds?'  Loki added in before taking a drink of his wine

Uh oh he has the 'I'm finna kill you' look

'Ahh your highness, it's the February festival, and she is a beauty'

'Ookay, Alice let's go to Thor. Darling.' He said putting emphasis on darling

'Ofcourse' I said not like I had a choice since I was practically being dragged anyways
