George and I had only a couple of days left in Mykonos. We spent the previous nights partying and getting plastered, tonight would be the same as the other nights. That was what I expected at least. George was still sleeping when I woke up and I took a moment to watch the sea whilst standing on the balcony, drinking some coffee. I had no clue how long I slept or why I was so sore, but scrolling through Twitter quickly brought up some memories. Dancing on tabletops, jumping in the pool, flirting with strangers- yeah that seemed like something I would do when drunk. Much to my surprise, George had similar actions to mine.

When I saw those videos, all I could think of was how Beth would murder me when I got home again. Luckily, that wasn't for a couple of days and George and I had nothing to worry about. I mean, Beth couldn't expect me to behave on a holiday like this. Besides that, I've been very calm and under the radar for over a week now. She should be proud.

"Morning cherie, sunshine, whatever you like," George said, making me flinch. He kind of caught me off guard with one, sneaking up behind me, and two, using the nicknames both of my 'exes' used. Even though Lando didn't count as an ex in my book.

"Morning," I chuckled, glancing at George, but then looking at the sea again. "And you pronounced 'chérie' wrong."

"Yeah, you can't forget about the accent on the e," a very familiar voice sounded from the balcony next to mine, I thought I was just hallucinating, after all, I missed home.

I exchanged a look with George, who seemed to be hearing the same. A bit sheepish, we turned our heads to the side. When I tell you I almost had a heart attack, I wasn't even close to lying. I sort of jumped into George's arms, but he stumbled against the wall. Also completely shocked by what he saw. We definitely came across as clumsy idiots.

"Charles, what the actual fuck are you doing here?" I asked, in the most polite way I could. Which wasn't very polite, but this bitch ruined my holiday by showing up, so I didn't blame myself for snapping either. "I need answers, French boy." If I had a knife and we were in the middle of an action movie, I would've pressed it against his throat already.

"I suddenly got tickets to Mykonos in my mailbox and I could use a trip away from home," he explained. Charles and I did book tickets to Mykonos back when we still dated, but I was convinced he cancelled those when we broke up. "I thought you cancelled the trip."

"No, you dumped me so that means you should've cancelled it," I responded. "You knew George and I would go here though, you could've just gone somewhere else."

"What Daisy said," George now jumped in, Charles rolled his eyes at us. "Are you here alone?"

"What? Scared I'm going to steal your girl?" Charles chuckled, winking at me. I rolled my eyes and quickly intertwined my fingers with George's. This fucking dickhead. First, he comes to Greece and secondly, he shows up with this enormous ego! One I wasn't quite used to. "Yes, I'm here alone."

"Good," I said. "No, not good actually. Can you switch rooms or anything? It is pretty awkward with you being in the room next to us while we-" yes, Daisy, while you what? You didn't even kiss properly yet, "sleep."

"If I remember correctly you slept with Lando when we were still together, to add we were on the same hotel floor. I don't think it's that big of a deal," Charles commented. Okay, he had a point there, but that didn't make this whole situation less annoying. How could I forget about my home when my potential future teammate slept in the room next to me and walked around on the same island? In my guesses, there was no way.

"Except it is because this was supposed to be our romantic holiday together. Which means, no acquaintances!" I defended, gesturing at George. "But okay, I can't ask you to leave-"
