A/n: do I take this seriously? No. Do I keep bullying my mc? Yes. Do I enjoy it? Yes. Does this story make sense? No. Am I going to quit postponing writing this chapter by asking annoying questions to myself which is going to mess up the word count? Probably.

Eventually, Lando pulled over close by my house, as near as he possibly could be. Which was halfway on the roadside, in my eyes, he could just drop me off at the gate in front of my house, but this was closer according to him. He stepped out of the car and opened the door for me, escorting me to the gate. I entered the code and with a lot off noise and metal scratching on stones it opened. He insisted on walking me to the door in case something happened in the ten dark metres alone. The automatic porch light jumped on when I stepped on the slightly higher entrance to the door. The black thing with a small window in the middle and a big sunflower carved in the wood.

I opened my purse and sighed deeply, causing Lando to worry. "What's wrong? Besides everything?" He asked while I took off the purse and emptied it on the concrete slab. I had found lipgloss, peppermint, aspirin and even button with a pink owl painted on it. I sat down, trying to find my keys through the stuff, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

"I lost my keys," I said in a brittle voice, I coughed and covered my face with my hands, crawling to the door on my knees until I could sit against it. "Of course, I did. My phone died, I lost my keys, I knew going out wasn't a good idea and still-"

"-are you sure you looked everywhere?" Lando asked, I felt his arm touch mine, so I guessed he came to sit next to me, which was correct since my head didn't fall when I rested it against his shoulder. I squeaked out some form of yes and he sighed. "Shall I call your mum?" I shook my head, resting my hands on my knees.

"No, she needs her rest and she didn't sleep well the past few weeks, so I'll just wait until it's morning again," I mumbled. "Before you ask, all the windows are locked and the backyard can only be reached from the inside."

"And now you're planning to stay here the entire night?" I nodded, trying to suppress any upcoming tears. "Not going to happen." He stood up and reached out for my hand. "We're going to my place, you slept in my room plenty of times it's not a big deal."

"Why would you think it's a big deal?" I teased, which caused his cheeks to turn red. I grabbed his hand and stood up as well, following him back to the car. "You're making it seem worse than it is." He sighed and started the car, looking around to make sure he wasn't going to run over some bunnies and hedgehogs. We stayed silent until the end of the road, where the traffic light jumped to orange the second we got there. "Is sleeping in the same room as me so embarrassing? Because I wouldn't be bothered to sleep on the couch."

"It's not embarrassing, far from actually, but if you want to sleep on the couch you can. I wouldn't recommend, because I'm not massaging your neck if it's hurting." I rolled my eyes at him and chuckled. "And you're just fooling with me again, aren't you?" I nodded and my lips curved upwards in a small smile. "At least you're smiling."

"That's an effect you have on people," I said. He stepped on the gas and drove onto a dark road, no concrete, only sand and loose rocks. I thought I had remembered the way to his apartment, but this road didn't seem familiar. "If you're going to kill me do it quick and painless and just know I'm going to haunt you and your children."

"I'm not going to kill you and I don't have any children," he mumbled.

"Not if you're going to kill me." His eyes widened and he looked at me. I screwed things up again. "Because I'd curse you, what were you thinking? Well, I know what you thought, but I didn't mean it that way-"
