(12) "Stop this madness"

Two months later..

It was two days before their junior year of college begins. Nikki was on her way to the girls house they sent her text that said they were hosting a small get together to celebrate the new school year. Nikki had been in Florida since Bobbi and Clint's wedding. The girls did come down to see her a few times. 

When she pulled in Delilah and Wanda seen her. "She's here." Wanda said 

"Good." Nat said as she went ahead and poured her a glass of wine. Nikki came through the door Emily was standing next to Bucky. "My god what an outfit.." she mumbled 

"Em that's enough." Bucky whispered 

Nikki hugged the girls then she seen Bucky and Emily. Her eyes dropped down to see Emily's baby bump. "She's pregnant.." she said 

"Yes." Bucky said 

"I'm 5 months along with a baby girl. Due in December.." Emily said as she rubbed her bump. 

Nikki took a deep breathe. "Congrats.." she said 

Bucky walked over to her. "We need to talk now.." he said as he led her outside. 

"What do you want to talk about? Cause if you are going to ask me if I think the baby is yours you have nothing to worry about she shoved so far up your ass." She said 

"No I know Emily didn't cheat. I want to talk about you and your eating disorder as well as your mental health. And don't think that just because I'm married that it  makes me blind or stupid you had your boobs done after the wedding." He said 

She looked down. "Can we not talk about it and say we did." She said as she was about to go back inside. 

"No. Stop this madness Nicole Lauren. You of all people a daughter to a nurse and a doctor and a step daughter to a doctor. You have three medical professionals in your life. Not to mention my mother..and your friends mothers. You know how dangerous this is." He said 

Tears welled in her eyes. "Nicole I am sorry that I over reacted earlier this year. Yes I made my mistakes and for that I will forever be sorry that I made you feel like I didn't care. That I chose to do and say horrible things about you. But I care about you..you were the first girl that I ever loved and did things with." He said as he started to walk towards to where she was. 

"Nikki darlin..after everything we went through during our relationship. Why would you do this? Why would you choose to slowly kill your self." He said as he lifted her chin. 

He wiped away a few of her tears. "You gotta fight Nikki. Fight the urges go back to therapy get your life back in control. You have a big group of friends and family that love you. This madness has to stop. It will not only wreck them if we lose you but it will kill me too. We may not have been destined to be together like I had hoped Nikki and I said and did things that I didn't mean cause I was hurt and angry. We already had been having a terrible year with everything that had happened before the cheating. But I care about you and I always will Nikki so please not just for you or me.." he said

He leaned in her ear. "Do it for him..do it for our son..do it for little Matthew James. He's watching over you  darlin." He whispered 

She closed her eyes as a few more tears fell. "So you can move on and be happy. Find your happiness.." he said 

"Yeah.." she said in a low tone. 

Bucky went back inside while she stayed a little longer outside. When the food was ready she made her plate and went back outside. Bucky watched her from the window to make sure she didn't try and hide her throwing up outside. After she finished she came back inside before Nat could say she made peanut butter pie. Nikki decided to leave and go back to her dorms. 

"Do you think that you got through to her?" Nat said 

"I don't know. Hopefully though." He said as he ate his pie. 

"I guess we will see.." Bobbi said 

"Yeah.." Delilah said 

Nikki was laying in her bed crying as she slowly fell asleep.
