Your pain is etched across your face, you wish you could get out of this place, standing there in an empty space, it's clear to see you haven't won the race.
I see tears streaming down your cheeks, flowing like a river, you've been away from your family for weeks, wrap up warm, before you start to shiver, standing there during the storm.
Starting a new life, abroad away from your family, maybe it was a chance rolling the dice, and taking chances on a bet about your own time, life is always gonna be a difficulty.
I'm sorry I had to take you, away from your friends and family, oh how time has flew, can't believe you now only just belong to me.
Don't be scared, I'm not here to hurt you, I just want to be there, not going to desert you, you don't need them, I'm your only friend, that you'll ever need, believe me, you're now free.
