Saying Goodbye

Doorways into a broken heart, allow my eyes to see new light, I'm shocking myself just to restart, maybe in time everything will turn out alright.

Saying goodbye was the hardest part, you took away a piece of my heart, and left me alone in this place, leaving no sign of a trace.

So now I soldier on, try find a place where I can belong, whilst forever surrounded by mystery, avoiding all the trickery, that's blinding a light, directly at my sight, as I try watch back our history.

I run after the fog, in the darkest of nights, I try create a new dialogue, so I can try think of the best way to talk to you, if we ever meet again beside those bright lights, on the same path we first met, when we first kissed under the bus shelter at sunset, maybe we'll catch a sense of deja vu, happening again, as a flashback plays inside of our brains.
