This is how I always wanted Cake to end. The final epilogue chapter was originally (before the rewrite) supposed to be the one that revealed the cake metaphor, but I tossed it into chapter 31 because why not? METAPHORS

When I first started writing Cake, as in, when I first had the idea for a gay furry story involving two characters named Charlie and Sky, who were a dog and a cat, I had no idea what furries were and was just entering the fandom lmaooo

It all went downhill for me when I started watching The Amazing World of Gumball hahahah

I was so new to everything, I was so young back then, and it really showed in my writing of the original version of Cake. It was so loose and unorganized, I didn't even know how college worked so I just winged it, and it turns out that people did like what I wrote. Me, myself, I obviously had some personal grievances against it as I grew up, so let's just say that I'm proud with the new and improved version and the other one can remain in the archives lolll

As you can tell, this story means a lot to me, and I kind of grew up with it, you could say. I'm just so happy that I get to share it with you and allow you guys to read what I make!

Reader interaction is one of my favorite things to do here on Wattpad, I always love hearing your guys' opinions and thoughts, so feel free to leave your comments in this chapter (or any of the others!) about what you thought of Cake!! I don't really know how well I take constructive criticism, but I definitely accept it, I'm just an insecure BEAN—

I've always loved the idea that everyone has a different, unique imagination according to their personality and can visualize what they want when reading novels!
