"How long you been alive and you just now coming to see me?" Calvin chuckled and brung Demetrius in for a hug before opening up his house door wider so he could step in. Demetrius decided to see Calvin to calm his spirits a little because he desperately needed it.

"My bad pops, I just be having so much goin' on. Three fuckin kids, plus Dia annoying ass stressing me out." he mumbled and took a seat on Calvin's couch while Calvin sat in his usual chair perpendicular to the couch.

"I heard you invested in a few restaurants in LA too, is that a side hustle or you done selling for good and into some legal shit now?" Calvin asked and Demetrius nodded his head slightly

"I'm done sellin' for good, I got too many kids to be doing that shit, it's dangerous. Right now I'm an investor in a new soul food restaurant that opened up in LA not too long ago. It's hot right now, so it bring a lot of money in. It don't pay the same price as selling drugs, but it pays and is enough to take care of my kids so I'm satisfied." he shrugged

Demetrius actually missed selling a little but he knew he needed something more legit for the sake of his children. He didn't need any more enemies that would put his kids in danger because he was sure he still had many. And they all probably already heard that he was alive as well.

"I'm proud of you Carti, you maturing I see. But you know I still got a bone to pick with you." Calvin said, confusing Cartier, he didn't leave off on any bad terms with Calvin

"A bone?" he repeated

"Dia parents." Calvin spoke, shocking Cartier a little, he wasn't sure how Calvin found out what he found out, but he did. "I found out not too long ago it was you who killed them. Have you told her?" Calvin continued.

Demetrius sighed a little, he had forgotten he even killed her parents in the first place. "I haven't talked to her in a minute, we had a fight." he mumbled, a little annoyed thinking back to their fight they had.

He and Dia hadn't talked since their argument which was 3 weeks ago. He couldn't even see DJ, not because he didn't make an effort, but because Dia didn't want him to. She was keeping DJ away to spite him, which was wrong of course but she didn't care.

Demetrius on the other hand was furious, which was why he stopped by Calvin's home in the first place. He needed to calm down just a little before he went to Dia's home so he could see DJ and then strangle her.

"Not surprising, y'all always fighting. And when she find out about this? You better be ready for a war." Calvin chuckled. He wasn't upset at all about Demetrius killing Dia's parents because they were bad people in his opinion. But he knew Dia wouldn't be okay with it.

"I'll tell her ass myself, at first I wanted to spare her feelings but now, I don't give a fuck." Demetrius said truthfully and leaned back, crossing his arms behind his head

Calvin only sighed "What happened now?" he asked

Cartier smacked his teeth, "She wanna be with Hakeem, said being being with him was healthy and I'm 'toxic', I'm possessive, abusive, some other shit. Then she said she hated me because I'll never get it. I don't know what 'it' is but it got something to do with me pushin' her off that balcony." he finished
