We've got xKNKYxCookies on the hot seat today. One of the winners in Fantasy's Stairway to another World Contest. Let's hear what he's got to say.

What's your name and tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Jordan. I have 10+ creative ideas that I want to write into book series one day. My family is very important to me. I'm a chill dude.

What or who inspires you to write?

The first person who inspired me to start writing was my high school English teacher, Mrs. Scott. Of course, it had to be the English teacher! She really pushed the boundaries of my creativity.

What's your favorite quote?

"He who fights monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." -Frederick Nietzsche.

Did anything in your book happen to you in real life?

Definitely not. My stories and ideas have no resemblance to me or people in my life.

Define Fantasy in your own words?

Fantasy is a sensation that what you feel is different from your perceived reality. Magicians and Disney parks are great examples here. They use amazing demonstrations and illusions to conjure fantasy elements for their audience. Most of us can't help but have a feeling that what is happening before our very eyes is magic, and we get so excited to see our fantasies come true! Power of imagination!

What Fantasy sub-genre is easier for you to write?

Sword & Sorcery.

Who's your favorite fantasy author?

Tie between Patrick Rothfuss & John Flanagan.

Hobbies?

Drummer for 10+ years. Gamer for 20+ years. Writer for 5+ years.

Pet peeves?

I have to use a specific length of fork/spoon on most foods that I eat. It can't be too big or too small. I need it just right.

Most used app?

Twitter or Marvel Topps Card Trader.

A city or country you'd like to visit?

Japan, Scotland, and Italy.

What TV show are you obsessed with right now?

Criminal Minds, Wynonna Earp, and faithfully re-watching The Walking Dead.

Is your glass half full or half empty?

I have a half-full glass today. I might have a half-empty glass tomorrow. Depends on the day.

What makes you laugh the most?

I pulled up to a drive-thru window and ordered a meal. The guy asked, "Curly or regular?" I wasn't paying attention, sadly, and responded, "Uh, fries, please." My wife busted out laughing so hard that the guy heard her, and he started laughing on the intercom. I would like to tell you that I don't do that often, but it happens on quite a regular basis for me.

A celebrity you'd love to meet?

Jason Statham.

What's your greatest fear?

Spiders haha.

Winter!

Bad boy or Billionaire stories?

Show me the $$$.

Can you tell us what you're currently writing?

I am writing Skinstealers currently. It's about an orphaned prince with a revenge story to eliminate the assassins who killed his parents. Along the way, he meets friends, dabbles in love, reveals hard truths, gains knowledge of an ancient race of beings, learns who he is, and finds out what he is capable of. Hopefully, when I finish the Skinstealers storyline, I will move to my other projects, which I have titled Rayvenwing, Scarlet Specter, Villainy 101, and Rocket to the Moon
