Meet Yosh

What's your name and tell us a little about yourself?

My friends call me Yosh. People tend to mispronounce my complete first name, so I'd like to go by that, since it is easy for everyone. I'm a dreamer and a professional at procrastinating.

What or who inspires you to write?

My parents, teachers and my friends. My parents were the first to push me to try my hand at writing and they are always never hesitant to make sure I have everything I ever needed and wanted for that. The words of encouragement by my teachers and friends helps me immensely as well. I am thankful for having them in my life.

What's your favorite quote?

"Everything happens for a reason and a purpose and it serves you. " - Tony Robbins

Did anything in your book happen to you in real life?

Yes, there was one small detail. In my book, I mentioned that the protagonist's daughter would hide when he left for duty. I used to do that when I was a kid when my father left for work.

Define Fantasy in your own words?

Fantasy, for me is the light at the end of the tunnel. When the reality gets exhausting, fantasy is my best form of escape.

What's your favorite fantasy book on Wattpad?

The Society of Imaginary Friends by KristenPham.

What Fantasy sub-genre is easier for you to write?

Low fantasy.

Who's your favorite fantasy author?

J. R. R. Tolkien. Neil Gaiman is one of my favourites too.

Hobbies?

1) Daydreaming 2) Reading.

Pet peeves?

Two of the biggest pet peeves of mine are getting disturbed in my alone time and smalltalk. So getting disturbed in my alone time for smalltalk is a huge no-no.

Most used app?

Pinterest and Wattpad. YouTube is for watching cute cat videos when I'm moody.

A city or country you'd like to visit?

New Zealand and UK. I have made it my life's mission to visit Hobbiton before I die. And I had made a mutual pact with my best friend to visit the Sherlock Holmes museum as well.

What TV show are you obsessed with right now?

I won't say I'm obsessed, but I love Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel. The topic of ghosts maybe controversial, but I am extremely fond of the show.

Is your glass half full or half empty?

Half empty, most of the time. I have a special knack for seeing the bad side of things.

What makes you laugh the most?

Relatable memes, mostlu, which means I may have probably been laughing at myself the entire time.

A celebrity you'd love to meet?

Nick Vujicic.

What's your greatest fear?

Failure and flying cockroaches.

Winter or summer?

Winter.

Bad boy or Billionaire stories?

Neither. Maybe I'm old fashioned or just have got nothing to do with the real world.

Can you tell us what you're currently writing?

It's in my nature to have a countless number of WIPs scattered everywhere. So I am kind of in the middle of a few short stories.
