God is not looking for capable, educated, well-to-do people... He is looking for people desirous of His glory. What you are today doesn't matter. What is important is what you are in God. God is looking for clean hearts, wanting His presence. (1 Samuel 16:7; Matthew 5:8)
Maybe he even wants to work on the project, but he keeps thinking he doesn't have the capacity. Great to think like that! Well, we really don't. Everything we do comes from the Father, He enables us. (1 Corinthians 1:26-29)
God is looking at your heart. If you want something, surely, He will empower you. God doesn't want educated, rich, wise people... It's not that you shouldn't study, be rich... what I mean is that these things you won't take to heaven. (Matthew 6:19)
God only wants you just the way you are. Don't worry about how the work will be done, just be available to the Father, He enables you.
Let God shape you! (Isaiah 64:8)
