The Father is looking for true worshipers, who worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23) Our worship must be perfect. But how perfect if we are sinners? Perfect in the Father's eyes, it is that worship that we worship in spirit, that worship that we give our best. (Psalm 9:1) Abraham's best son was his son, the one he loved most. God is asking what is most needed by Him, He is asking you! Why worshipers who worship in the spirit? Because the worship of the spiritual worshiper is totally turned to the Father, but the carnal worshiper shares his worship with the world, that is, he is never totally in God, there is always something from the world that stays with him. He shares the Father's worship with the world. Whoever loves the world, the Father's love is not with him. (1John 2:15) We need to die to the world and start giving our best worship. (John 12:25)
