"When they had passed away, Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask me what thou wilt me to do unto thee, before I am taken from thee. You asked for a hard thing. However, if you see me when pain is taken from you, it will be done to you; but if you do not see me, it will not be done."

2 Kings 2:9-10

Quite tremendous than what Elisha asked Elijah. He wanted a double portion of his spirit, and he got it! (2 Kings 2:9-10)

There are people who want more from God (they are the ones God is looking for), are not satisfied with religiosity. It wasn't the fact that Elisha saw Elijah ascend that caused him to have a double portion of the spirit, but the fact that he walked with Elijah all the time. He saw Elijah come up because he was always with him.

What God wants from your church is that it is in tune with Him at all times. Whoever wants more from God, needs to have more time with Him and give up some pleasures. (Galatians 2:20; 1 John 2:15)

How long have you been in the presence of the Lord? Spend time with God! (Psalm 84:10)

God bless you!
