Elijah, a man used by God, gave this widow direction to be happy. She had to give everything she had to the prophet. At that time, the prophets represented God.
Not much changes today. We need to give everything to God so He can work the miracle in our lives. The Lord asks us to prove Him. (Malachi 3:10)
Prove God, give everything to Him to receive everything from Him!
