"Then the disciples, approaching Jesus, asked in private, Why could we not cast him out? And he answered them, Because of the smallness of your faith. of a mustard seed, ye shall say to this mountain, "Move from here to there, and it shall pass away. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:19-20
There are two teachings in this passage, one is very clear, which talks about faith. We need to have faith to bring things into existence, without it we cannot please the Father. (Hebrews 11:1,6)
But there is another thing Jesus teaches us that it takes to activate faith: authority!
In addition to faith, we need authority to activate it. In this passage, Jesus authoritatively shows faith in action. (Matthew 17:19-20)
Show your faith with authority, and bring the things of the kingdom into existence!
