"Saul clothed David with his armor, and put a helmet of bronze upon his head, and put on a breastplate. David girded the sword over his armor and tried to walk, for he had never worn it; so David said to Saul : I can't walk with it; for I never wore it. And David took it off him."

1 Samuel 17:38-39

David, a brave man, in which he faced Goliath and killed. But to face him, he needed armor like any soldier who goes to battle. David did not have an armor, so Saul lent the armor to David, however, he was clumsy, because he had never used an armor before, and the one that was, was not of his size. This happens to us today. We often want to fight with our own weapons and wear armor that doesn't fit us. There is armor and weapons for us, and Paul shows us this in the book of Ephesians. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Our fight is spiritual, we should use spiritual weapons and armor. (Ephesians 6:12)

The question is: how to put on the spiritual armor? Praying in Spirit at all times. (Ephesians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 14:14-15)

Put on the spiritual armor and go to battle!

God bless you!
