We often fail to receive what God has for us because our vision is wrong. We cannot depend on men, even though there are many men and women of God. I'm not saying that we should stop listening to preaching, ministering, music from these people, that's not it! They are channels of blessing in our lives, just as you are to someone else. What I want you to understand is that they are used by God, but we can't live on that alone. What will determine the success of your spiritual life is the time you have with God in your bedroom. We need to be in tune with God at all times. (1 Corinthians 14:14-15)
