"However little is needed or even just one thing; Mary has chosen the good part, and it will not be taken from her."
Luke 10:42
This passage tells that Jesus was in Martha's house. Martha, in turn, was preoccupied with the housework, but her sister, Mary, stayed at the feet of Jesus, listening to what He had to teach.
The world offers many things that seem to be good for us, but are really just mistakes, and only bring momentary joy. You can do what you want, but there are things that don't build your life. (1 Corinthians 10:23)
Mary chose the good part, chose Jesus! Is that you? What to choose? The things the world offers, or Jesus?! Jesus is the good part for you! (Luke 10:23; John 14:6)
