"Then the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, accursed art thou among all domestic animals, and thou art among all wild beasts; thou shalt crawl upon thy belly and eat dust all the days of thy life."
Genesis 3:14
This verse is the key to understanding why Satan still prevails in many lives. Let's pay attention to what the Lord says: "...you shall eat dust all the days of your life".
The interesting thing is that man was made through the dust of the earth. (Genesis 2:7) What does this mean?
That every time we do the will of the flesh, we give food to Satan.
Our flesh was formed from the dust of the earth, and Satan's food is the dust of the earth. (Genesis 3:14)
That's why those who love the world don't have a life with God. (1 John 2:15; John 12:25)
If the flesh feeds Satan, let us live in the Spirit, for He knows God and reveals the depths of God. (1 Corinthians 14:14-15; 1 Corinthians 2:10-11; Ephesians 6:18)
Have a life in the Spirit!
