Chapter 55

It was Saturday morning. I was outside sitting on the front steps and Tina was standing on the side, not far from me. I had told her many times to sit down next to me but she refused. Sigh. She was one stubborn person.

Me: "Why is it so quiet? Where is everybody?"

Tina: "They're having breakfast in the dining hall My Queen."

Me: "Together?"

Tina: "Yes. The pack eats all their meals together."

What? This was news to me.

Me: "As in everyone eats together, all the time?"

Tina: "Yes My Queen."

Me: "But I never knew this. Zukile and I always eat together."

Tina: "Yes My Queen. The Alpha told us that until you get used to everything that you will share the meals together."

Oh my god.

Me: "He did?"

Tina: "Yes My Queen."

I opened my mouth to say something then I closed it and groaned.

Me: "Everyone must hate me."

Tina: "No. Everyone likes you My Queen. Everyone praises you and says you are the best Luna."

Me: "Really?" I asked her smiling.

Tina: "Yes My Queen. Tina wouldn't dare lie to you."

Me: "But I haven't done anything Luna-like, why would they say I'm the best Luna?" I shook my head.

Tina: "They say you even though My Queen is a human, you have courage like a warrior."

Me: "Me?" I asked in surprise.

Tina: "Yes My Queen."

Me: "Wow but I don't know why they would say that. I'm not courageous at all."

Tina: "Everyone saw My Queen fighting against the Alpha as he tried to make you submit to him. They say even though you knew you would lose, you never gave up and fought until the end."

I blushed.

Me: "Oh." I had forgotten about that night. I still can't believe I had sex in front everyone. I cleared my throat. "What else do they say?"

Tina: "They say My Queen is always smiling her sweet smiles at everyone and makes the Alpha happy."

Oh. That was so sweet. I smiled as my heart filled with joy and tears gathered in my eyes.

Me: "They really say that?"

Tina: "Yes My Queen. Tina would really not dare lie to you."

I chuckled softly.

Me: "I know. I trust you Tina." She smiled happily.

Tina: "Thank you My Queen."

I bit my lip.

Me: "What time does the breakfast end?"

Tina: "In 30 minutes My Queen."

Me: "Would it be too late if I went and joined everyone now?"

Tina: "No My Queen. Not late at all. Everyone will be happy to see you. The kitchen staff will prepare you a feast."

I chuckled nervously.

Me: "No need for that."

Tina: "Should I go and inform them that you'll be joining them My Queen?"

Me: "No no don't do that." I said waving my hands. I bit my lip. "Let's go."
