We sat on a bench in a small cherry blossom grove I had never been to before. There was a steady breeze that didn't fail to make my cape go flying in all directions so I had to hold onto it so it wouldn't go everywhere.

“Can you tell me about your uncle?” tedros asked abruptly.

“What about him?” I asked as I turned to face him.

“Who is he?” Tedros answered.

“Well it's complicated. Technically my uncle is my brother. Since my dad is sir lancelot my uncle or brother is sir galahad. We were so far apart in age that I always called him my uncle.” I explained to Tedros’ surprise.

“So your dad cheated on your mom with my mom?” tedros questioned.

“I know, it's disgusting.” I said as I pulled a disgusted face to try and make him laugh. It worked momentarily before he had another question to ask.

“So your mom is Elaine of Corbenic, right? Lancelots wife?” tedros asked with a very worried tone.

“Yes. I think we would know if we had the same mom." I said with a laugh as we both sighed in relief.

“But how?” he asked, clearly referring to my age compared to my parents.

“I'm a little miracle I guess. I don't really want to know what they were doing." I said.

“y/n of the lake.” he said my full name.

“Tedros pendragon.” I said back since we were calling each other by our full names.

“You know how many things started making sense after you told me you were Lancelot's daughter?” he asked rhetorically.

“I thought you knew.” I replied in a surprised tone.

“Do I look like i meddle in my fathers business?” he asked sarcastically.

“Maybe it's just me who does that.” I said jokingly.

“Did you actually sneak into my fathers meetings?” he asked loudly.

“Not all of them, only the ones Galahad snuck me into.” I admitted.

“And how might I ask, did you manage to remain hidden even though there were guards everywhere?” he asked as he cocked a brow towards me.

“How do you know if there were guards everywhere if you never snuck into the tower?” I countered.

“I'm caught.” he said as he raised his hands up in defeat.

“So how often did you really sneak into his meetings?” I questioned.

“Most of them. I usually just followed the other little kid sneaking into them and that turned out to be you.” he said as he smiled brightly at me.

“So we've known each other all along and we never knew it.” I said with a sigh as I thought about all the times I had ignored Arthur's son who I was now best friends with.

“Well you never really paid attention to me. I used to follow you around everywhere without you knowing.” he said which made me laugh because i knew the boy was following me i just pretend i didn't.

“Actually I did know you were following me, I just pretended not to. Do you remember when you slipped in my fathers private kitchen?” I asked with a smirk on my face.

“Yea i nearly broke something because there were stairs right in front of where i slipped.” Tedros complained as he gave me a questioning look.

“Olive oil, rubbed it all over the ground after I announced I was going to the bathroom. Then, I put shoes on with spikes on the bottom so I could walk over it without slipping." I explained as I had a proud look on my face.
