Prologue

"Zach take care my babies." Zach mother told her as she and her husband was about to go out the country.

"Mama I got this, I'm grown." Zach said.

"Don't sass me girl." Her mother glared at her.

Alex walked out her room.

"Mom you leaving again?" She pouted.

"Yes I have too. It's very important." Their mom said.

"Everything is more important then us." Kay snapped.

"Don't start your bullshit, Kira." Their mother said.

Their father came downstairs.

"You ready hunny?" He asked his wife.

"Yes I am." Their mother said.

"Where is B and Jelly?" Their mom asked.

"Who knows, they stay to they selves." Zach said.

"B! Jelly!" Their mother yelled.

"What?" B and Jelly replied.

"Come downstairs!" Their mother yelled.

"Why?" B and Jelly replied again.

"Just bring y'all asses downstairs!" Their father yelled.

They huffed and walked downstairs.

They was mad their parents was leaving them. They always leave them by their selves for a long period of time.

"Mom can I at least look for a job while y'all gone?" Zach asked.

"What for Zach? You have enough money to hold you until we get back." Their mother said.

"Make sure Alex go to school, you know how she likes to skip." Their father said glaring at his younger daughter.

"My sister suppose to be calling to check on you guys." Their mom said.

"Why? Tuh we grown." Kay said with attitude.

Their father looked over at Kay.

"You better fix your attitude little girl, I'll beat your ass before I leave." He said.

"I'm grown! Y'all always leaving, leaving us with Zach. She don't know what the hell she doing!" Kay snapped.

"You shut the hell up Kay, always running your mouth. Don't get mad at me, because your boyfriend don't want shit to do with you." Zach snapped back.

B and Jelly shook their head. This is all the time between Kay and Zach.

Alex just covered her mouth.

"I'm not getting in that right now. You girls be good." Their mom said kissing each girl, and hugging them goodbye.

"I hate you." Kay said.

"Good, I hate you too." Zach said.

"Y'all need to cut it out." Jelly said.

"I'm saying." B said.

"Nobody was talking to thing 1 and 2." Kay snapped.
