There was only so much a man could do, however. Neither of us knew how much time had passed, but it had to be the middle of the night when Brian and I finally collapsed on the bed again, slightly sweaty, completely exhausted, but happy as never before.

"Oh my god," I exclaimed, running a hand through my messy hair.

"Indeed," Brian agreed, breathing heavily. "Indeed.. you're amazing, I hope you know that." He snuggled up to me, securely wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Mhm," I just mumbled and snuggled close to him. "I think you might have to carry me around tomorrow," I told him, making him laugh softly. "Hey, don't laugh, this is the most sex I've had in a very long time and that tends to mess with my body."

"Sorry," he apologised, resting his head on my shoulder. "I'll make up for it, I promise."

"You better," I told him, smiling to myself. I let my eyes wander through the darkness, through the window that the couch was standing beneath. "Oh wow, look how gorgeous," I told him, gently tapping his shoulder to get his attention.

It wasn't possible to see much in this darkness, but one thing that was very clear was the beautiful nightsky with so many stars sprinkled across the black canvas. Brian snuggled a little closer to me and hummed a little, obviously taking in the beautiful view as well. "It's wonderful, isn't it? In moments like this I love living here. I love it so much actually."

I turned my head around to look at him, this time I could actually somewhat see him because he was merely a couple of centimetres from my face. "This is what you wanted for your life here, isn't it?"

"A beautiful woman in my bed under this sky?" He asked, genuinely smiling. "Yes... it's exactly what I wanted for my life here."

I kissed him very softly before I snuggled close to him, closing my eyes. "Let's try to get some sleep, okay?"

"Okay," he agreed, pulling me closer to him. Exhausted and happy it didn't take long for us at all to fall asleep in each other's arms.

The next few days were slightly crazy to say the least. On Monday both Brian and I got started on organising our short trip to Tenerife. The plan that had been slightly slightly vague was slowly taking shape, with Brian seeming more determined than ever to show the island to me. I talked to my boss, and to say that he was relieved to hear I'd be going on holiday was an understatement. He practically ordered me to not come back for at least a week.

Of course he was curious to hear what my plans were for the sudden trip, but I didn't tell him more details than he had to know. Officially I was taking a trip to Tenerife with a good friend. I neither mentioned that this good friend was actually more like my boyfriend and nor that he was also a world famous rock star. That was something I hadn't gotten used to at all. How could I? It had only been a few days since Brian and I had ended up in bed together and we were both still trying to get used to this new situation.

My boss was happy with a simple explanation, my friend Annie, however, not so much. I learned that the hard way. On Thursday evening I was just on the phone with Brian because he had some news about our trip. We hadn't seen each other since Tuesday morning because I had to work and organise a few things, and so did Brian. It had only been two nights but after the intense few nights we'd had before it was a little strange to sleep alone again. That was exactly what we were talking about.

"So you will come here again tomorrow?," he asked, clearly eager to see me.

"As soon as I'm off I'll be on my way," I assured him, smiling to myself. "If you want to pick me up, I'm off at three tomorrow."
