Hello everyone 😊 So this is a little overdue but my life is still a bit all over the place atm so I hope you understand. If I haven't replied to all comments yet I'm definitely going to do that over the course of the week because then things should be a bit more back to normal again. But I read them all and they really motivate me a lot to keep these chapters coming so don't be shy to share your opinion, it's very much appreciated.
I hope you enjoy this chapter and I'll try to post another chapter (for a different book) this week.
Thank you for reading and voting and commenting! 💚

[btw I tried to find all typos but I'm very sleep deprived so if you find anything feel free to point that out 😊]

Together we put away everything we had bought, and when that was done, Brian suggested we should enjoy the view from our little roof terrace a little more. However, before we were even halfway up the stairs, Brian suddenly gasped. "I completely forgot to call my parents. I promised."

"There's a phone in the bedroom," I told him, nodding in the direction of upstairs.

"There is? I didn't notice that earlier," he said, furrowing his eyebrows a little. Something that made him look even more adorable.

I smiled widely and shrugged. "You were a little preoccupied with other things."

"Like your boobs?" He teased, smirking at me as he followed me up the last few steps.

"Yes," I laughed. "For example that. Now come on." I held out my hand for him and winked at him. "It's a shame that this time we're just going into the bedroom to call your parents."

He laughed and nodded. "Yeah... maybe we can get carried away after that though."

"Who knows?" I just said and smiled widely at him.

He was quick to follow me, and of course he wouldn't be Brian if he didn't try anything despite the fact that he was supposed to do other things.

"Brian," I told him off and gently slapped his hand off my thigh. "Not now. First you call your parents and then you can let your hands wander."

"I'm taking that as a promise," he told me with a smirk before he let go of me and picked up the receiver, dialling the very long number it took to reach his parents in London. It took a few minutes before someone picked up, but even then I could hear that it was Ruth and that she was telling Brian off for taking so long. It was already a bit past five and we had landed more than six hours ago, so I guess I could understand her point. There had been a few awful incidents on planes the past years so I didn't blame her for being worried. However, after Brian explained to her that we had to pick up the car, take a nap, and do some shopping first, she seemed to understand it a little better. In the end it wasn't hard to tell that she was actually just really relieved to hear that we were both okay.

She and Brian only talked a few minutes longer before they hung up in order to avoid running the phone bill up too much. And as soon as the receiver was back on the phone base, Brian turned to me with a smirk on his face. "Hey there, gorgeous..."

"Hey," I laughed softly, winking at him. "You really want to do it again already?"

He shrugged and licked his lips. "I might... we're going out later, who knows if we're not to tired afterwards?"

"So you want to do it now just in case?" I asked amused.

"Yes, exactly. I'm glad you get me." He smiled widely and pecked my lips, slowly lowering me onto the bed. "Do you have a problem with that plan?"
