My mom and I arrived at the broadcasting station. The crew were already at work setting up lighting. My mom was greeted by most people that passed her. She must have been a pretty big deal here.

Since my mom was a TV personality, she had her own manager. Her manager, a much older man who knew the ins and outs of the industry, scouted her back in America. He was waiting for her on location already, "Good news! You're going to have guests today on the show."

"Really? Who?" Mom asked.

Normally older actors or other TV personalities were featured on her show. I expected the guest to be someone boring.

"Monsta X." The Manager Kim replied, "They're a boy group that are becoming super popular. They wanted to switch things up and come to a cooking show. It should be a lot more fun today."

'Monsta X?' I thought, 'You mean the guys I acted like a complete psycho in front of yesterday?'

No way!

Even though I saved them, I was sure it didn't put them at ease to know I was an ass-kicking machine. I needed to leave before they showed up.

How can I get out of being here?

When the Manager walked away, I grabbed my stomach and groaned.

"Oh! Honey, are you okay?" Mom asked worriedly, putting an arm around me.

"My stomach hurts." I lied.

"Should I get you some medicine?" She asked, worry in her eyes. She started to rustle though her purse.

"No, I think I should just go home." I suggested, maybe a little too excitedly.

"Aww, I was hoping you'd see my show today. I'm sure it's a boy group you know!" My mom said, patting my shoulder, "But if you're not feeling well then I guess you should go... Shall I call you a taxi?"

"I can get my own," I said quickly, "I'm sure you're busy. Don't worry about me."

I turned towards the exit, happy I found my out of this situation. But I celebrated too early, because I immediately bumped into someone.

I froze, my eyes locked on OFF-WHITE sneakers. No old person wears OFF-WHITE, it could only be one person.

'Shit. I'm too late.' I thought.

I looked up slowly to see Monsta X were standing before me. They had recognition in their eyes. After the recognition passed, there were mixed reactions. Some were a little scared, others were excited to see me.

I researched the boys the night before, so now I knew their names.

"Oh, this is the boys!" My mom said, coming over to greet them. "Hello Monsta X! I'm Choi Haewon. This is my daughter Jiyeon. I'm looking forward to filming with you today!"

I stared out into the abyss, wondering why the universe was being so cruel to me. I considered pretending to be someone else. But that would just be a waste of my time.

The boys bowed to my mom and said, in unison, "Nice to meet you!"

My mom went off to take care of business and left me with the boys. I stared after her in silence, wondering if I could still somehow escape.

But of course it was too late.

"You're the fighter from yesterday!" Minhyuk exclaimed. "You didn't tell us you were Jackie Chan."

The comparison was nice, but I was hoping to keep my ass-kicking skills under wraps while here. I wanted to keep a low profile. This was supposed to be my vacation after all. I guess that wasn't going to happen.

"Sorry... about that..." I said tentatively. I made eye contact with the boys for the first time since they were in the building.

Luckily, they weren't looking at me like an alien. They were looking at me with admiration. Most guys that figured out I was so strong were scared off immediately, they were different.

"Don't apologize!" Jooheon cut in, he pushed to the front of the group, "If not for you, we might have been kidnapped!"

"Our stuff was totally stolen, though." Shownu muttered.

"And we were groped a bit... But thanks to you, we were saved!" Minhyuk smiled. He unexpectedly pulled me into a hug. While locked into his embrace, I recalled that hugging people (especially of the opposite sex) wasn't something they did in Korea. He must have been very thankful.

Minhyuk pulled away and said, "Let us buy you food later!"

"I don't know..." I said. I wanted to refuse at first, because I still felt odd in front of them. I was always embarrassed after going full-out ninja in front of people, especially cute boys.

"Oh, come on. We owe you!" Kihyun insisted. "It's the least we can do! You took down at least fifty people!"

I shrugged.

Fifty fangirls was nothing. Yesterday was like swatting away flies compared to my usual line of work. There was one time I had to take out sixty full-grown men. The perpetrators were holding a governor's daughter hostage. Now that was impressive.

This, not so much.

"Yeah, how did you learn to fight like that?" Shownu asked.

"Yeah, how did you?" Jooheon pushed.

All the members agreed, staring at me quizzically. That was the question I didn't want to answer. I couldn't tell them I was part of the FBI.

"Uh... college?" I lied.

They gave me odd looks.

"What college did you go to?" Kihyun asked.

"It's a private college in Hawaii, you probably wouldn't know it." I lied.

"There are colleges like that?" Wonho asked, not convinced.

"You don't really look like a fighter." Hyungwon added, looking me up and down.

"I hear that all the time." I chuckled.

"So then what do you do for a living in America?" Shownu asked.

That was another question I didn't want to answer.

"That's a stupid question." Jooheon cut in, "Obviously she is a bodyguard!"

'Right, right, what a good idea,' I thought. 'This guy is a genius!'

"Yep, boydguard. That's me," I replied, putting on my best smile. That would be the perfect cover up! "I'm here on vacation, though."

"Filming is going to start soon." My mother called to the boys. "Why don't you all get your aprons? Come on, Jiyeon, I'll show you where to sit."
