The next day, Monsta X would be performing at Music Bank to promote their new single, Jealousy. I woke up at 5 am to shower, get dressed, and get ready for the day. Since I would be around a bunch of celebrities, I knew I had to dress nicely. Couldn't let these hoes catch me slipping. So I picked out a floral body con, off-the-shoulder mini dress. I applied some makeup and wore comfortable shoes, because I knew I would be standing around all day.

I emerged from the bathroom once I was ready. Everyone else was already dressed in their stage outfits for the day, makeup applied and ready. Their stylists had them wearing oversized white button-down shirts that were tucked into black pants. A totally iconic look, if I do say so myself. They were accessorized differently, with varying necklaces and earrings. It reminded me a lot of the high fashion stuff I'm used to seeing in America.

"You guys look really cool." I said. They were definitely going to outshine me today, and everyone else in Music Bank.

"Thanks." Minhyuk beamed, "You look nice too."

"Can you even fight in that, though?" Hyungwon questioned. He was very critical of my fashion choices. If he wasn't an idol, I'm sure he would have been a part of the fashion police.

"I promise you, I can fight in just about anything." I replied, "Now I'm ready to go when you guys are."

The manager was waiting for us in the van just outside of the dorm. I walked ahead of the guys, making sure that the crowd of fans outside didn't get too close. I ushered the guys into the large van, glaring down the fans to make sure they didn't throw anything like the day before.

Once we were all inside, the car took off and we were on our way to Music Bank.

Some of the boys napped in the car, the others practiced harmonies or raps. I sat, trying to fall asleep myself. I had a hard time sleeping last night. Knowing that three attractive guys were in arms length of me definitely kept me up.

After a very short car trip, we arrived outside of the venue. Other idol groups were arriving at the same time, most of which I did not recognize. Monsta X was set to practice in a couple hours and the show would broadcast at 1 pm. It was currently 7 am.

"Wow." I muttered, looking around the facility. There was a huge backstage area where groups of people were meandering around. I followed Monsta X and their manager down a large hallway to their waiting room. It had some vanities where the boys could get their makeup fixed up. There was also a couch that I took full advantage of.

Hyungwon sat down next to me on the couch. He was super dazed, staring off into the distance.

'This guy is kind of odd...' I thought, following the curves of his facial features all the way down to his lips. 'He kinda looks like Squirtle.'

Hyungwon noticed me staring and muttered, "How was it living in America?"

I averted me gaze forward to watch Shownu get his makeup done, "It was... the same as living anywhere else. Probably more boring though."

"How so?" Hyungwon asked.

Well, it was boring for me because all I did in America was work. The FBI is a demanding job. But I couldn't let them know in any way about my job. My life needs to sound as bland as possible, "Uh... you know, life gets to be the same day after day." I replied, flashbacks of some missions coming to mind. There was one time I busted a drug ring in Atlantic City. I arrested at least 20 guys, all on my own might I add, that were trying to start a branch of the Cartel. "...So, yeah, I wanted to switch things up by coming here. Make my life more interesting."

I put on my best smile to convince him.

Hyungwon looked me up and down before directing his attention elsewhere.

I sighed, glad I had gotten through chatting without any difficult questions.

"Jiyeon, since you're not busy can you go get everyone coffee?" The manager asked. He barged into the VIP room, phone in hand as he frantically texted someone. "I can watch the guys from here. There should be an area in the entrance that will give you a big thing of coffee if you ask for it. Mention that you're with Monsta X."

I nodded, exiting the room. Standing just outside in the hallway was a group of five girls that were staring longingly at Monsta X's name on the door. When I opened the door, they tried to get a peek inside before the door closed.

'Are they allowed to be here?' I wondered, 'Are these fans?'

The girls gave me a suspicious look, probably confused about the foreigner coming out of Monsta X's private room.

They spoke to each other in Korean, thinking I didn't understand the language, "Is she a stylist?" "I don't recognize her, maybe a makeup artist?" "I don't know. Why is a foreigner working with our Oppas?" "Is she a girlfriend?"

"No, I'm none of those things." I responded to then in Korean. Though I had more important things to work with, I was willing to play along with their questions for a while. The girls were visibly shocked that I could understand them.

Once they got over the initial confusion, they followed closely after me.

"Wait, so what are you then?" One of the girls asked. She had hair cut very short, and a tough image about her.

"Yeah, if you don't work for them then why are you hanging out in their room?" Another pressed. She had a cute face that reminded me of the typical k-pop idol girl.

"I do work for them," I corrected her. We had found ourselves in a big crowd, and I let out an exacerbated sigh. "Where is the coffee?"

"We'll show you where the coffee is, but you have to tell us why you're with Monsta X." The most unique looking one with blonde hair said.

"Fine, I just need to bring them coffee." I sighed.

'They act like a bunch of teenagers.' I thought. I could guarantee that whatever I told them would not make them happy. They wouldn't believe that I was a bodyguard.

The girls led me to a small table. Staff were handing out large boxes of Starbucks coffee along with water bottles. I took one for the group and turned to find the girls waiting eagerly for my answer.

I started walking back to the room and said, "I'm the bodyguard."

They were not convinced.

"Uhh, I don't believe you"

"Well, I told you the truth." I shrugged once we arrived in front of Monsta X's room, "Not my fault if you're not satisfied with it."

"I bet you're just trying to date one of them! You're not even that good at fighting, are you?" The short haired blonde one remarked.

I shrugged at them again, "Think whatever you want."

With that I turned and left the rookie group dumbstruck in the hallway.
