"What? What's up with you lately." Tyler said, raising his voice at you slightly.

--

You and Tyler had been together for almost a year and it was great. Tyler was great and you were happy with him. With him being the keywords. But, as you had learned, dating Tyler meant you were also dating the entire Dallas Stars team, which wasn't so great.

You liked the guys, they were great and funny and you wanted to be friends with them, but you had a line. There was only so much you could take.

In the beginning of your relationship, you didn't really see them or know them, but the longer you and Tyler were together, the more you saw the boys, and in the last few weeks, you had seen them nearly every day.

There was only so much you could take.

You were in a relationship with Tyler, not the Stars as a whole. You wanted time with Tyler. You wanted to have a romantic evening, go on dates, cuddle, have sex. But in the last few weeks, that got so much harder.

The boys liked to invite themselves to Tyler's place and crash date nights and steal him away. And they were Ty's friends, his teammates, his brothers. You and him hadn't been together that long, so you didn't say anything because you thought that you couldn't, that it wasn't your place. And because you didn't say anything, Tyler didn't think you minded their presence.

And that was true in the beginning.

You could handle seeing them often and them stealing Tyler away and occasionally coming over, that was fine. That was great. But, you would wake up and they're there, you would go to sleep they would still be there. That was too much.

And it was probably the annoyance, the aggravation and the lack of sex that led to your quietness and passive aggressiveness in the recent days. You weren't a hockey player, you couldn't just go out onto the ice and hit some guys to get your pent up feelings out.

Instead, your feelings got channeled towards Tyler.

You got quiet, didn't text or call Tyler as much, made a point of asking if "the boys were coming too" a lot, and even straight up left Tyler's when the boys showed up unannounced. You were hoping that Tyler would be smart enough to catch on to what you were implying. But, he wasn't. Tyler was completely oblivious to why you were suddenly acting all bitchy.

So, all hell broke loose one night.

You and Tyler were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie while drinking wine when some of the boys dropped in carrying a bunch of beer, wanting to watch the late game with Tyler. Ty smiled and gestured back towards the "man cave."

"Yeah, sure, head down there and get it all set up. Our movie is over soon and I'll be down as soon as it is."

The boys nodded and made their way to the man cave to watch the game. When your movie was over, you got up, grabbed your stuff and put on your coat. Tyler was washing the glasses in the kitchen, so you walked over to him and pressed a kiss to his cheek before saying goodbye and making your way to the door.

"Where are you going?" Tyler asked as he tried to catch up with you.

"Home." You replied shortly.

"Why? You should stay and watch the game with us."

You rolled your eyes. "I would rather just go home, have a goodnight, Ty."

"What? What's up with you lately." Tyler said, raising his voice at you slightly. He had caught on to you being bitchy lately, but he didn't know why.

"Don't raise your voice with me." You replied coldly.

Tyler sighed. "I'm sorry. Please, can you just tell me why you've been acting strangely lately."

You took a deep breath. "It's the boys." You said softly.

Tyler did a double take. "What?"

"I love them, and I love how much you love them, you know that, but there's a line. Tyler I want alone time with you, I want to have sex with you. But instead, you are literally always with them. I'm not asking you to stop, I would never do that, but I want some boundaries. Like no interrupting date night. Or... Or I don't know if this will be able to work." You explained to him, tightening your lips.

Tyler swallowed and nodded. "I didn't know you felt this way."

You nodded. "Well, I do."

"You should have told me."

You shrugged. "What was I supposed to say?"

It was Tyler's turn to shrug. "Well...I'll talk to them, okay? Make sure they don't interrupt date night from now on. And to make it up to you, how about we go to a B and B where I can guarantee that the boys will not be able to interrupt us. We can have a nice, long romantic weekend." He said, stepping close to you and putting his hands on your arms.

You leaned into his touch and kissed him softly. "I would like that very much."

Tyler pecked your lips once again before pulling back. "So, do you want to stay and watch the game now that we got this all sorted out? You can go home if you want, no hard feelings."

You shrugged. "I guess I can stay."
