It's been one week since the girls have stayed with me. We haven't had any problems the whole time they've been with me. They're remarkable girls and they have a lot of potential, they just need to see that. The girls went to bed a couple hours ago. I've just been laying in my bed relaxing. I'm just getting ready to go to bed and turn the lights off, but there's a knock at my door.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Hanna. Can I come in?"
"Yeah, come right in."
Hanna opened the door and walked in, shutting the door behind her.
"Here, come sit down by me."
Hanna came and sat down right beside me.
"What's up? You should have gone to bed hours ago."
"I can't sleep. I have something I need to talk to you about."
"Okay, I'm listening."
"I didn't finish the homework today that I told you that I finished."
"This is why you can't sleep?"
"Just thinking about lying to you makes me feel really guilty. Now that I did lie, I feel even worse."
"I'm glad that you were willing to tell me the truth, but this isn't that serious of a matter."
"I know that this is going to sound awkward, especially coming from me, but will you punish me? It would make me feel better."
"You want me to punish you because you didn't do your homework? Now I've heard it all."
"I'm being serious."
"Well, what do you want me to do?"
"Um, will you uh spank me?"
"Hanna, are you sure you're feeling okay?"
"I'm fine, but I would feel better if you would just spank me."
"Okay, I'll do it. Go over my lap."
I can't believe this is happening. I have never heard of a teenager asking someone to spank them because they didn't do what they were supposed to. If it's going to make her feel better and go to sleep, I'll do it.

"Okay, I think that's enough Hanna. Sit up now."
Hanna got up and sat down beside me again. She gave me a big side hug.
"Thank you for doing that Heather, I feel so much better."
"You're welcome, I'm so proud of you for coming to me."
"Heather, can I sleep in here with you tonight?"
"Sure, go turn off the lights, I'm tired."
Hanna went and turned off the lights. She grabbed a blanket from the end of the bed and wrapped herself in it, and then laid down by me.
"Good night Heather."
"Good night Hanna."
