i was in class working on my partner assignment with leilani when i remembered what alejandro wanted me to help him with.

"rumor has it that you and mattia are dating." leilani tells me and i smile.

"not yet, but we're almost there." i tell her and she smiles.

"i'm so happy you let go of that hector piece of shit." she says and i sigh.

"yeah me too." i tell her. "what about you? are you talking to anyone?"

"no not really, i just haven't found anyone who likes me." she says and i try to hold back my smile.

"you know who you'd look super cute with?" i ask her and she shrugs.

"alejandro." i tell her. "i'm pretty sure he would love to get to know you."

"you think?" she asks as a small smile escapes her lips.

"trust me girl, he would not mind at all." i tell her. "how about you sit with us today?"

"are you sure? i don't want to intrude, i know how tight their group is." she tells me and i roll my eyes at her nonsense.

"it's fine, plus we could talk more. you're like the only girl friend i have in this school." i tell her and she smiles.

"i'd like that." she says and we continue to do our work.

a good twenty minutes later, the bell rings and we all report to lunch. i notice mattia waiting for me by the door and as i get closer he looks up.

"hey beautiful." he tells me before planting a small kiss on my forehead. "hey leilani, you're sitting with us today?" he asks her and she nods in response.

we all walk in together and we're immediately greeted by the rest of the boys. "guys this is leilani, leilani this is alejandro, kairi, robert, roshaun, and alvaro." i told her and she gave them all a small wave.

"i've been dying to meet you." said alejandro. the boys all face palm as they see alejandro attempt to flirt with leilani.

after school came by quicker than ever and i was currently doing my homework for ap bio. i truly despise this class, the teacher gives a shit ton of homework.

interrupting my homework session was a text message from the groupchat.
