Chapter 24

"Jinx! Where the hell have you been?!"

I walked passed Viktor completely ignoring him as i put down the knife on the table and observed the orange Lily in anguish.

Flashback:

"Do you want my book over flowers?" Said Achlys with a smile.

End of flashback:

I memorized every meaning of these flowers with you...

An Orange Lily ... The flowers of sadness... renewal, rebirth, and restoration of a soul.

... You want me to move on...

"Jinx!" Screamed Viktor stealing my flower out of my hand.

I instinctively took out my gun to his head. His eyes widened in surprise as i looked at him in rage.

I'll never move on.

"Give Me The Flower. Now. I'll blow your brains out if it's damaged."

I refuse to move on.

Viktor's hand slowly opened as i snatched it out of his hand. I inspected the flower before putting down my gun and sitting back down.

"Where did you get that from?" He asked.

"Achlys gave it to me."

"In Noxus?"

"No, today, she was here." I said looking back at him.

"SHE'S WHAT?! JINX-"

I covered my ears at the volume of his panicked screams.

"Jeez, calm down. She's long gone." I said annoyed.

"You let her get away?! Jinx she's going to destroy the city!" He yelled again.

I threw a screwdriver at his head.

"Stop screaming. She wasn't here to fight yet, she was here for me."

I pushed the knife toward him.

"And what did she do?" He asked taking the knife and observing it.

"She gave me that, told me the knife could kill her." I said still looking at the Lily.

Viktor stayed silent as if he was trying to understand something he couldn't.

"She did something else didn't she?"

I was so surprised that i froze instantly. A smirk appeared on Viktor's face.

"I knew it! Y'all fuc-"

"NO, WE DIDN'T! ... even if we did it wouldn't be any of your business!" I said turning my back to him to hide my embarrassment.

He stayed silent for a few seconds before speaking again.

"You do know that was her Goodbye to you."

My eyes Widened before coming back down to the Orange Lily.

I know.

"You're wrong." I said hitting the desk. "She still loves me."

Viktor looked at me saddened.

I watched Jinx leave the room.

"I know she does..." I whispered to myself before walking outside to watch the moon.

Star-crossed lovers... How saddening.

Watching the moon lighting up the night... I asked myself why.

Achlys... Why are you doing this... Is Revenge really worth it?
