If there's one thing Isabella hates and will hate forever, it's Monday.

However this one is crucial for her. Feeling restless and nervous, she was almost about to call Eijaz through a telephonic booth but shoved the idea away. After bidding her mother goodbye, she left for Western Hotel.

Compared to the fancy cars in the parking lot, Isabella's car looked like a piece of crap metal so she parked it outside. To her surprise, the place was already crowded at ten in the morning. The receptionist gave her the direction of the hall where the interview was being held.

"Oh hell no," she whispered silently as her eyes took in the number of people present, formally dressed with files in their hand.

She grabbed a token and almost face palmed herself. She was the one hundred and seventy eighth candidates. She swallowed her anger and stood in a corner with a blank face while others talked among themselves. Patience was testing her limits and she didn't want to disappoint it.

But the wait wasn't too long as there were five interviewers. When her number arrived, she mumbled a small prayer and went inside the room.

"So you're applying for waitress, have you ever done anything similar before?" The pervert man whose eyes couldn't remain fixed on her face asked as he brushed his hair backwards. Isabella smiled, showing her perfect white teeth.

"Yes actually, I always volunteered at college festivals, sometimes worked in the canteen so I know my way around."

The want to smack him on the face was growing by each passing second. But Isabella knew if she keeps on flirting with him, she might land herself the job. Western Hotel pays good, in fact extremely good compared to other places.

"We'll announce the names of the people who have been selected at three p.m. so stick around who knows luck might be in your favor."

"Oh the pleasure is all mine," said Isabella while adjusting her shirt and flashed one last smile before leaving the room.

If the job wasn't important, she would have had this man captured by local mafia and taught him a very good lesson. Isabella had no fear or tension because she knew that this creepy man will want her around and in order to make it come true, he will have to hire her. She wanted to flee as she has been here for too long but she put a mask of apprehension on her face to look normal like others.

Indeed the time arrived.

Out of two hundred and thirty people, only seventy has been selected. Those for a particular job were called inside a room and instructions were given on the job. Isabella's heart leapt with joy when they were told they will work on shifts. For a beginning, it's not bad as it's her first time working. But when she spot the waitress uniform, she gulped down her saliva trying to look satisfied where in reality she wanted nothing less than to strangle Eijaz.

Why waitress and not something else?

A Muslim girl protested against this and they immediately asked her to leave which she did gladly. Isabella couldn't complain so she kept mum. All her life she has been a jean and hoodie girl but now she'll have to wear a short black skirt reaching mid-thigh, a pair of pale black legging and a white short sleeves shirt tucked inside.

Going to the receptionist, she asked permission for a phone call and the girl in glasses allowed her.

"Hello," Eijaz spoke as if he was in a good mood.

"It's me Isabella."

"Congratulations on your new job."

"Shut up, you never said I have to dress like a ughhh," she whispered the last part as the girl started eyeing her suspiciously. "I'm sorry. I didn't know myself because I've never been there but don't you worry, it's for a temporary phase only. Stay safe and try to avoid Zaid as much as you can and don't contact me, I will find a way to contact you if necessary."

Isabella placed the phone down and sighed. Turning around, she saw everyone who was walking started backing away as if someone important had to walk through. From the girls' glances, it was no doubt that the man was none other than Zaid Adeeb Tahir.

Isabella didn't waste time and grabbed the phone again, pretending she was making a call while he walked behind her. His strong cologne drifted through her nose but she didn't dare to look at him. After he exited the hotel she watched him through the transparent window.

'If you weren't a criminal, I would have swoon over your beauty.' She thought.
