"What do you think she is suffering from?"

Isabella asked, adjusting the scarf on her head to give her a natural Ishana daily look. Like expected there was a suspicious black jeep with two male officers sitting right outside the Loren Mental Health Association. They had no other way to get inside undetected without disguise. Isabella knew exactly who while Zaid wore a lab coat and spectacles.

"It doesn't matter. Our daughter is crazy and is in need of medical health, that's why The Legends didn't take her in their care."

Done; the message chimed on Isabella's phone. She knew if there's one person who can hack into security cameras without any hindrance is Ismail Jafry's team so on their plane ride to Ontario, the order was delivered and here they were getting ready to take their daughter with them.

Zaid and Isabella stepped down the black Mercedes and blended in the group of visitors, employees and sick. They walked straight to the doctor's consulting room instead of stopping by the reception. As researched the doctor examining Kate Turner would be having his afternoon break alone at this very moment. Without knocking they both barged inside and the old doctor Martin lifted his eyes from his cup of coffee to the two strangers.

"Can I help you?"

Isabella smiled and sat on the opposite chair. "Yes, my name is Ishana Yazzir and I've been sent here to see Kate Turner. She happens to be a relative of mine."

"The young Kate, well, I can't say there's improvement but if you want to see her, follow me."

Dr. Martin wore his coat and the couple walked closely behind him. Isabella thought they were going to take the elevator instead he made them climbed down the emergency stairs that goes underground somehow and turned into a dim lit corridor where instead of looking like normal hospital private rooms, it appeared like high security cells with bars and security code that had to be entered before gaining access to the room.

"What is this place?" She asked.

"Here is where we treat the most deranged and dangerous patients. Some of them are victims of cruel parents or life and some brought the destruction on themselves."

Isabella shared a glance with Zaid who looked as disturbed as her. This time it was Zaid who asked.

"What happened to Kate?"

"She is a stage four drug addict, to keep her treatment going we have to offer her a minimum amount of cocaine daily or she'll be fully ruined."

Isabella's heels stopped making sound as she stood motionless in the middle of the corridor, Zaid few feet in front of her and Doctor Martin turned, realizing they were no longer following him.

"What's the matter Miss Ishana? You didn't know."

The first tear escape, trailing down her cheek. "How-" was all she could say in a state of disorientation?

"We were only told she needs help, doctor. Please elaborate," Zaid said, his heart beating fast in his chest in an attempt to look calm on the outside. For who knows better about drug dealing, the more a victim is addicted, the more illegal money goes into the pocket of the dealer.

"Kate was sixteen when she first took a pill, it didn't take long for her to become an addict considering the crowd she hangs out with. It soon became inhaling, injecting and smoking. Her adoptive father discovered about this bad habit when she stole thousands of dollars from their neighbour and soon admitted her for treatment."

"Adoptive father," Zaid questioned.

"Akil Omar, what a gentleman. He said he found Kate as a baby by the trash and decided to raise her as his own for he was an orphan and knew what it's like to feel loneliness."

Her throat tightened, her eyes moving slowly towards Zaid's face but he himself was in shock. He looked down in shame.

"Could you leave us for few minutes doctor?" She requested.

"Sure, I'll be in the next corridor. Kate's room is the third."

Tears stream down her cheeks. Zaid moved and faced her. She has never seen him looking so defeated and exhausted than before. She rushed and connected her palm with his cheek, the sound resonating in the silence buried underneath.

"My mother once told me if I ever encounter someone who has been a victim of drugs; I'll see that my husband is a villain. I ignored her because I was blindly in love with you at the time. I was wrong Zaid. I shouldn't have fallen in love with you, in fact no one should and if they do they are as wrong as you are."

Pain was laced in her voice and the tears were bursting like an overflowed river. But Zaid's wall too shook and crumbled to pieces.

"I didn't know Isa- Akil; he always finds a way to ruin me. He did this on purpose. It's his fault, not mine," he said, a lone tear falling down his cheek.

"Everyone knew Akil is a bastard but you fucking sell drugs Zaid, you destroyed your daughter with your own hands. I can't forgive you."

"Be fair."

"You adore mafia right, more than anything. I name you King of Seven League so go fuck yourself. You have no right over me and Kamilah. She is only my daughter not yours and don't think your threats will work on me this time."

"Isa let me see her please," he begged.

"There's a gun in my purse Zaid. Get out of my life before I fire all six bullets into your brain because right now seeing your dead face will give me more joy than you can imagine. Get out, GET OUT."

He blinked and wiped his tears off, walking out of whatever was left in their relationship. It was over between them.

Silence mixed with a wave of tears and drama filled in the gaps. Isabella walked and noticed Doctor Martin standing in front of the third room; he was looking inside from the rectangle transparent glass. Isabella approached and what she heard and saw didn't give her enough energy to wipe off the tears that stained her face.

"Give me more, you bitch," she yelled at the nurse.

"Kate, please-"

"Fuck you, I said I want some cocaine, get me some fucking cocaine. You want me to be better then give it to me."

Isabella turned to the doctor and ordered, "Release her."

"What are you saying? I can't do that. She is a danger to others and herself."

Placing her hands on his shoulders, she looked down at his eyes. "State your price doctor Martin."
