Adeel Malik temper was a wild storm to be endured especially when one of his own turned out to be a traitor.

His best plan yet to finish the Seven League has gone down the drain and there are so many to suspect; one of them being his child Akira who stood next to Eshaan, head slightly down. He would have never raised a finger at her but the sick bastard Akil Omar made it came true.

"Not many people knew Kamilah's real location so it has to be one of you."

His eyes moved from Han, the badass who looked ahead with a trace of concern, Veer who crossed his arms beneath his chest, Eshaan who didn't even know Kamilah's whereabouts but knew enough about Seven League and The Legends, Anisha who sat in a corner observed her nails and Akira who stared at him with her innocent eyes.

Akil Omar sat quietly on the couch, not participating in the conversation.

"Did you tell them Akil?"

He asked and all eyes riveted on the ex-member of the Seven League. Flustered, he stood up and faced the man who raises his daughter well.

"No, they hate me and I hate them. I would never reveal this fact."

"Why did you kidnap Kamilah?"

"I did not," Akil denied firmly but a man whose reputation wasn't known to be up to the standards can't be easily believed.

"Akil" It was Ishana who called him out, he spun around to her walking towards him. "Everyone knows you and Zaid are longtime enemies. Admit you did it for revenge."

He ran a hand through his hair, the air in the room thickening and realizing he was trapped. The only way out would be none other than the truth.

"Fine, I'm the one who kidnapped Kamilah. I was spying on Zaid after he attempted to kill me in Casablanca. I wanted to hurt him in the worst possible way so I made sure to raise his daughter well and then left her in the wrong group. Of all the ways she could have destroyed her life, she chose drug, like she was attracted to it."

"I hated him Akil but what you did is wrong," Ishana shouted at him.

"I did not give Kamilah drugs, she had a choice to take or leave it. It looks like she took and enjoyed it so if you want to blame anyone, blame dealers like Zaid who ruined lives little by little. And you out of everyone should know better. I've been in the Seven League for seven years and Zaid has been a drug dealer for twenty seven years. Do the math and you'll see who the greater sinner is."

The last part touched a nerve and Akira observed as Veer looked anywhere but at the faces of the people present in the room.

"Thank you for your confession but did you tell Zaid and Isabella about Kamilah?" Adeel asked again.

"No, I saw a chance that Kamilah could be cured so I admitted her to a good facility where The Legends finally caught me and Akira revealed that I was never an orphan after all."

One couldn't tell if Akil Omar is purely evil or manipulative or he just wanted to be loved like a normal person.

The room was tensed and Anisha Jafry could no longer stay out of all of this. It was the perfect time to accuse her not so likeable twin. The handcuffs were gone but the ankle monitor was back.

"I think it's Akira who told them. The bad blood runs in her veins, she is Akil's daughter after all, beloved father."

"Shut your mouth Anisha," Adeel ordered and she rolled her eyes.

"Or maybe you did," Akira started for she has had enough of her twin sister accusing and insulting her at every given moment. "You are after all Isabella's favorite little pet, aren't you?"
