PACK ALPHA PANITCHAYASAWAD POV (WAYO'S DAD)

When we're about an hour away from town, I call Ming to confirm our plan to go straight to the hospital to see Wayo and Phana. When we arrive, he's waiting near the front doors for us.

"Alpha." He wais to me then to Kamon and Tasha as they exit the car behind me. "P'Kamon. P'Tasha."

"Where are they?" I demand impatiently. Ming points the way and we start moving down the hall.

"Alpha, Yo is sleeping right now, and I would suggest letting him stay that way. He hasn't been getting much rest." We've paused outside a room with a closed door and I assume it's Wayo's.

"Yes, the doctor told me he's suffering from nightmares. We'll let him sleep a little longer. Bring Phana out to speak with me please."

"Yes, Alpha." Ming responds, then opens the door and enters the dark room quietly. He returns just a moment later with Phana in tow.

As Phana exits the room I get a good look at him in the brightness of the hallway lights. His clothes are wrinkled and untidy. His movements are slow and not as smooth as usual. His hair is messy, and I can see the dark circles under his eyes. He's fidgeting and seems unsure. I've never seen him like this before, he's usually so self-confident.

My attitude and voice soften at his obviously exhausted and stressed state. Grabbing his shoulders, I pull him into a hug. "How are you son?"

He stiffens against me before he relaxes and hugs me back. "I'm ok."

Releasing him, I push him back to arm's length, so I can look him over again. "You don't look ok."

He snorts at the obviousness of my statement. "I'm just tired."

"How's Wayo?"

"He's... he's ok too. He's physically better. The doctor came a little while ago and confirmed we can take him home this afternoon. Emotionally, he's also doing better today too. It's hard for him to rest in a strange place after everything that's happened. I hope taking him home will help."

"I'm going to talk to the doctor, then I want to see Wayo. Let him rest until I get back. Hopefully he'll wake up by then."

Phana nods in understanding. "It's almost time for lunch, so I'll wake him soon anyway."

--------------------

After talking to the doctor, I walk out of his office satisfied with his explanation of how Wayo is doing. Striding down the hall back towards his room, I notice no one standing outside the door. Wayo must have woken up, if everyone went inside.

Entering, I see him talking to Kamon. She's holding his hand and brushing her fingers through his hair. He turns his head and looks at me. Instantly, his eyes fill with tears, and I hear a choked, "D-daddy."

Moving to his side, I replace Kamon who moves back to let me by. I wrap my arms around him for a gentle hug. "Son."

Minutes later, when we're both calm enough to let go, I pull back. "How are you feeling? The doctor said you can go home today if you're ready."

"Yes, I want to go home, daddy. I'm feeling better." He looks at me with a pleading face.

"I figured you'd say that, so I already started the paperwork." I laugh at his surprise. "We'll leave after lunch."

--------------------

After eating, I pull Ming and Phana out to the hall for a quick talk.

"When we get Wayo back to the dorms and settled, I want to see Park. We have some business to settle with him."

"Today? Sir..." Phana starts, but I interrupt.

"Sir?"

"Dad," He gives me a tired smile, before turning serious again. "If we're going to deal with Park today I'll need to call my friends. I promised them they could be there."

"I understand, but I'm not sure what will be left for them. Tell them to meet us at the address at..." I pause to look at my watch, "it's 12:30pm now, so how about at 4pm?"

"Yes, Ming and I'll make the calls. Who will stay with Yo?"

"Epsilon Sakda and his partner are with us, they'll watch over him, but Kamon will stay with him and keep him distracted for us."

"What about Tasha?" Ming asks.

"Ahh, well, she'll come with us. I believe she has some things she wants to say to Park." Both boys look at me, then each other. They can wait and see for themselves.

WAYO'S POV

Finally, I get to go home to the dorms. Dad got me discharged and dad, Kamon, Tasha, Pha and I drove home together.

When we get into my room we all settle comfortably in the seating area. I tried to get everyone drinks, but Pha scowled at me and told me to sit down while he took care of everything. Kamon, dad and I shared a look and just smiled at each other.

Pha brought the drinks, then picked me up, sat down in my spot, and settled me in his lap.

"P'Pha!" I can feel my face and ears burning. I try to get up, but he just wraps his arms around me and holds on until I gave up. Stubborn man!

"Yo, it's fine. Dad doesn't mind. Look at him, he's smiling." I look over daddy and see the wide happy smile on his face.

"Phana, my boy, you remind me of myself when I was younger." Argh dad. Really? "Change of subject. I want the both of you to come home with us tomorrow."

"What? Daddy, we can't be completely packed by tomorrow. We have both our rooms." I whine to him. That's so much work to get done. There's no way we can do it in one night.

"Several pack members are coming tomorrow with a truck. They'll pack up your rooms. You can sort through everything once it's all brought home." I look at Pha, because he's not saying anything, but since he doesn't look surprised dad must have already told him.

"Also, Phana, Ming, Tasha and I have something to do this afternoon. Kamon and Epsilon Sakda will be here with you."

"What do you have to do that I can't go with you?" I think I know, and I'm not sure that I want it confirmed but I have to ask.

"Wayo..." my dad heaves a sigh. "You know justice has to be dispensed."

"Justice daddy, or revenge?"

"Luckily in this case they're the same thing." He gives me a stern look. "Son, I love that you are forgiving and soft-hearted because there are times when that is needed and warranted. However, now is not one of those times. Do you understand?"

"Yes." I mumble and lay my head on Pha's shoulder. I do understand, but I don't like it.
