Everlasting Love

Cake on the table,

Laughter heard in the air.

Giggling children,

We see still run.

A frown on you as the frosting covers your face.

I giggle and say, "Now you look as sweet on the outside,

As you are on the inside."

You can't hide your blush,

With me, you have no poker face.

I always love to tease your gorgeous face,

And making your heart race at a fast pace.

This is how you make me feel in your embrace~!

When you're with me, do not keep a straight face.

Save that for the bitter people in your workplace.

When you're with me, you should feel like you're in space,

Especially after seeing my love for you in a showcase.

When I'm with you. . .

Words can not describe my feelings!

In your arms,

Safety and happiness blind my eyes.

When you're away, the shadows arise.

Time doesn't fly, so please always stay. . . !

Everlasting is my love for you.

Two hearts entwined as one. . .

My love for you has just begun!

Hey everyone! So I really tried to make a happy poem seeing as most of them are sad or hopefully motivational. I think this one just came out cheesy though, I'm a cheesy person so I still like it XD
