Treatment

He's struggling. . .

He does so much for me to be happy,

And hides his pain.

No one knows,

Because no one asks.

He'd do just fine,

If he received treatment!

But he's scared,

Scared he'll be alone. . .

When I get hurt,

He's there every step.

Barking orders for help.

I love him so much!

So I need to let him know,

I'm there for him.

Pet treatment isn't easy,

They think they're alone.

Scared we'll leave them behind.

So we have to show them,

We'll be there.

To support them.

To love them.

To help care for them!

I definitely had a different approach with this poem. thejoyouspear asked me to do a motivational poem on pet care treatment so I did. I actually tried making it sound like I was talking about a person at first and I got that idea from twilightqueenbie who did that with one of her more recent poems (Go check it out!)
