Survive. . .

19 10 5

A dark cold night,

All alone. . .

Only the crackle of the fire,

To bring me comfort,

And make me feel at home.

What was meant to be,

A delightful camping trip. . . !

Became much more. . .

All sense of security,

Gone with the wind!

Day one. . .

We all had fun!

Then a prank was pulled.

Gone a little too far. . .

Only had good intentions,

They did!

But that was forgotten,

And all good intentions

Were gone down the drain. . .

Day two!

Huffing and puffing.

I pant as I run,

Run away from it all!

What happened?

All good alliances,

Broken quicker then they were made. . .

The bitterness of it all,

Rushed through me,

Faster than a speeding bullet.

All emotions took over,

The ache in my heart only grew.

All alone in the woods. . .

Screaming a heart wrenching scream,

"IS ANYONE OUT THERE!"

Whimpering,

"Please help. . ."

All I want is to,

Survive. . .
