*trigger warning*

"victoria's pro-ana."

the top of the page read. what's a pro-ana? the thought still lingered in my brain.

"what do i need to see, tyler?" josh asked suspiciously, walking closer to me and the laptop.

then, josh's ringtone could be heard from the kitchen.

"i'll look when i get back," josh looked at me as he spoke then turned away to leave.

"what's pro-ana?" i muttered, my eyebrows knitting together.

i kept scrolling and clicking, and then i came upon a folder that was titled "thinspiration." it was just pictures of flat stomachs, disgustingly flat, everything thin. why did she need these on her laptop?

"i'll be right back tyler, i'm gonna go grab something from the corner store." josh called. i yelled back a murmur of an okay, but he was already gone.

i kept searching; then i found pages and pages of bookmarked pages, all titled things like "pro-ana support" or "rules of thin." it was sickening the rules people came up with.

then, i came across a folder titled "diet."

my hand found its way to my mouth in pure shock. this was horrible. she's starving herself. did she just eat nothing on wednesday? this inevitably must kill you.
